How do I remove hash tags and User tagging statistics from Appearing under Community link vai Navbar?

Uncheck the Community checkbox in the vBulletin Options.

I am looking everywhere under 'DragonByte Tech: Advanced User Tagging - General Options ' and I cannot see the community keyword anywhere nor any setting that says anything about the Community Links :\

Oh snap, sorry, this is the only mod of ours that doesn't have the option :( My bad :(

Clear out the dbtech_usertag_navbar template instead :)

This is a great mod. A suggestion for the Pro version, which would make me buy it today would be emails when someone is mentioned or at least a visitor message (as I have another mod that sends emails when a visitor message is posted)

I reckon consolidated emailing would be amazing. Or an option where you can specifiy if the user is notified by email each time a mention/quote is made or whether the script consolidates all the emails into one daily or weekly email listing all the links etc I think it would be less spammy that way and honestly believe it will increase activity by notifying members after they forget about the forum even though they just started a welcome thread :P

To solve the email problem, is it possible for the mod to check if there's a character before the @ sign and if there is, not convert it to the [mention] bb code?

That way, these would work...

@123 @abc @def

but this wouldn't...

a@bcd.com

I agree, would be much better that way, I have not upgraded nor bought the pro version because of having to use the ;

The latest version does not force you to use the ; so you're safe to update :)

Doing this is something we'd like to do in a future version.

I realize you don't have to use the ; but if you don't there's an issue with email addresses.

For exmaple if I try to type in

mark@waterloo.com

It picks up that there's a member on my forum with the username 'waterloo' and then turns it into a mention:

mark[MENTION=314]waterloo[/MENTION].com

The solution I suggested was to check if there's a previous character, what about the order that the [email] and [mention] gets executed? and then disabling [mention] from executing within [email]?

By the way, this is an awesome mod! I just need to get it working perfectly though :)

Like I've stated multiple times before, doing the character checking is not a 5 minute job, and since we re-introduced the option of a ; character it's not our top priority at the moment.

We have other modifications that are in dire need of updates, but we will make that change in a future version :)

Not sure if this is the same for vb4 as I run vb3.8, but I deleted the contents of templates:

dbtech_usertag_memberinfo_block_quote
dbtech_usertag_memberinfo_block_tag

and these tabs no longer appear in the profile:

My question, if I may, is I'd like to delete some of the notification options and keep this purely about mentions. I am unable to find where to look in templates to remove these options (in the red box):

For example. My quick reply ajax doesn't work...instead of simple replying. It sends me to another page "telling me that my post will be posted" it gets posted but then the last post won't show in the "latest post".

The Version still shows 2.0.0 and not 2.0.2

Dragon I have noticed a little annoyance and so have my members. I think there should be a way of making the script not display who I mentioned or who I quoted because I am aware of who I quoted because I quoted them.

This is a big issue for me and a lot of my members as of late because when you're doing a lot of quoting and people are quoting you back you have to really spend time in the UserCP filtering out actual quote notifications and who I quoted/mentioned. . .

Any chance of getting this amended as I honestly don't see any practical reason for it telling me who I quoted/mentioned in the Mention/Quote tab of the UserCP?

We'll take it into consideration for future versions :)

Installed this on my forum, but my forum is now loading very slow. Especially when posting and editing.

I disabled the addon, no problems. Enabled it again, problems.

Any ideas?

There are no known performance issues, so unless you can provide a slow query log or something else that can help us debug it then there's sadly nothing we can do :(

I think it's confusing and the profile page loads already MANY queries as it is...no?
