I can't upload images for my garage. This is what it says
balt.jpg - Error: Image could not be moved. All settings are correct. |
My members are having issues uploading images as well, but in this case it seems the pictures are requiring a size limit other than what is advertised. I haven't looked into it yet, but some users also are just sent to a blank page when they try to upload.
|
have you guys looked into the options and set the pics to auto resize to the desired size or do you have it set up for deny?
|
It is set to resize on mine.
|
Is this 100% for 4.0.3?
Look like a great mod to use |

You can also log out and view the garage and see if it still gives the error. I see the page counter and it's not giving me an error as unregistered. |

Hiya,
Good to see this for VB4 :) New additions to my garage have images pulling correctly, but none of the old images for the old cars are working (yet) www.fiat-scotland.com (garage link is in the top navbar) I've tried going into settings and rebuilding the images/orphaned images and get the following (I get more than this, Ive just copied for a sample) Rebuilding Images - Attach ID 0 to 25 Warning: imageistruecolor(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in [path]/admincp/garage_manage.php on line 465 Warning: imagecreate() [function.imagecreate]: Invalid image dimensions in [path]/admincp/garage_manage.php on line 469 Warning: imagecopyresampled(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in [path]/admincp/garage_manage.php on line 477 Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in [path]/admincp/garage_manage.php on line 482 Warning: imagedestroy(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in [path]/admincp/garage_manage.php on line 494 Remade thumb image images/garage/attach/6/6/9/garage_vehicle-1-12477045091_thumb.jpg Warning: imageistruecolor(): supplied argument is not a valid Image resource in [path]/admincp/garage_manage.php on line 532 Any help appreciated :) |
What version of GD do you have? You can tell by looking at your phpinfo in the ACP.
It sounds like you have an old version of GD but it's trying to use GD2. EDIT: Also, can you check your images directory (images/garage/attach) and tell me if all the images are in there or if they are separated out into their own folders? Quote:
|
GD / GD2?
The images..they're in the same directory, I checked that against an earlier post you made in this thread. |

Maintenance->View PHP Info About 1/3 of the way down you'll see the gd info with the GD Version. As far as the images, they need to be split into their own directories depending on the owners userid. That is the most likely reason for the errors. Run the attached script from your acp, it should move all the ones it can match up. You might have to run it multiple times if it times out. It will remove the old image so you might want to backup the attach folder. |
GD Version bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
Going to try and run that .php repair file in a sec, see if that helps - indeed it seems to have, most of the cars now have corresponding pics again! Thanks very much!! |

I'd just like to say installed and loving it! A fantastic addition to our forum!
Thank you! :) |
Silly question, but in the garage_directory.php file, you have to edit where the forum is.
If the forum is located at for instance forum.com/forum What is the full path I have to use? Thanks |
Quote:
So if you have http://www.mysite.com/forum and you want to run it at http://garage.mysite.com or http://www.mysite.com/garage then you need to fill that out. If you do want to run it like that, you need the absolute path to the forum. You can get it by logging into ACP->Maintenance->View PHP Info Find the variable: SCRIPT_FILENAME The value will be something like /home/mysite/public_html/forum/admincp/index.php if you are on a linux system. The value you need to put in the $forum_directory variable would be /home/mysite/public_html/forum/ Hope that answers it for you :) |
Externally? Umm no. It all in the one spot.
Next Q I have is the files in the .zip, do they get uploaded into the directories listed or do I upload the whole lot into one folder and go from there? Im a little confused with that. And yes, this is my first forum :) |
Quote:
Everyone had their first forum once :) You can upload it all at once into the forum directory. It will just add the files to the folders and not get rid of the files currently there. So you don't need to go into the upload/admincp directory and ftp to the admincp directory to move just those files. You can move them all at once. Once you move the files and install the package, make sure you do the language as well. I have instructions posted here http://www.vbprogarage.com/forums/do...ion_script.htm |
Much appreciated! Thanks
