then, where do i need to put the folder?

YOu need to upload the images to the /forum/images folder, it should look something like this

forum/images/pixelpremium/ (and here are all the icons and what not)

Make sure whatever theme you are using has its' own folder in the images section of your root.

Facebook connect implementation would be nice. not sure if the new 4.0.4 messed up any of the skins yet.

I'm hoping the style generator will help eliminate the portions of your skin where the text is impossible to read because of the background and text matching

I believe there are new issues in the private messaging system and how the messages are viewed.

The only issue i can find is the same as in Sojobo's attached image..

4.0.4 version out yet? there is a transparent postbit where the avatar and info is... nothing there to be honest

i like the styles alot. I am using the pixel pixel (moon background and I have fixed all the issues except for one that is driving me nuts. I can not change the top left logo without completely making a new logo which is not what i want to do. I have tried all the fixes that normally work, and no luck. So is there a secret to editing the the logo.png file so i can replace the forum-skins.com and the "...where new forums begin and replace them with my web sites name and description. I have tried it under photoshop CS4, adobe fireworks and corel with no luck. It should not be that hard to edit your logo for a skin...... love the skin but png files are a pain to work with at times...... so any help would be appreciated.

adobe fireworks should fix the logo, its in .png format. hmm. In any case I may have optimized it.

Just remove the background images that you put in your ftp.

or...

go into stylevars: doc_background and then delete the image i put in there and change the hex value to whatever you want.

I already know that though and I did that first. I also wanted to remove the lines from the xml and I just didn't feel like searching etc. I figured if someone knew it would save me some time is all... I am good now though.. Thanks

I really just like the basic black and I am working on removing some of the other images as well because the style just seems to load very jumpy even without the backround images. It is a great looking style though..

vBulletin 4.0.5 Maintenance Release had no affect on the style. :)

My client doesn't like the white lines in the showthread template. He believes the white lines between the threads looks cluttered. Can you please help me address this issue and save me from having to go through the css??
