Apparently, Professional Green SEO Theme does not work with facebook connect feature.

daveaite 04-23-2010 06:13 PM

Which version of Professional Green SEO Theme?

FractalizeR 04-25-2010 12:43 PM

I am sorry for false alert. After reverting all templates all seems to be fine.

Yay. Thanks for the follow-up.

daveaite 05-04-2010 01:47 AM

This should work for vbulletin 4.03, please state any errors otherwise

Not a major issue, but a little tab sticks out when Quick Reply is enabled on the forums. When you click on it, it seems to 'select all'.

I modified my Showthread, so i'm not a 100% its because of the skin.

The 2nd screen is another issue...once again i'm not a 100% sure its because of the skin.

When you have a lot of Tags for 1 threads, the tags overlap each other -

daveaite 05-05-2010 02:18 AM

Really not sure. Perhaps its overlapping since you haven't set minimum doc_width in stylevars. Possibly..

snerd 05-05-2010 07:31 AM

Using Digital Forums. Thanks!

tafreeh 05-06-2010 10:57 PM

tafreeh 05-07-2010 04:51 AM

[S]I changed it.. i actually created a new one..[/S]

daveaite 05-07-2010 08:43 AM

Yay, good news tonight. :)

Astyanax 05-07-2010 09:30 PM

Is the Dark Professional Green SEO Theme working with CMS and blogs too?

daveaite 05-08-2010 12:59 AM

Yep.

tafreeh 05-08-2010 07:48 PM

what did you update today ?

daveaite 05-08-2010 09:51 PM

Man, you guys don't miss a thing ;) I didn't even send updates by email, you must have the mod tagged to get it. I made some small updates, nothing too serious, I like to continually update this theme :)

Gosef 05-10-2010 07:01 PM

thanks

kenng 05-11-2010 04:14 AM

hey there, i love your skins and i took the dark green one you made for your friend. can you please check my site to see if I accidentally edited away any important copyright? my forum is here.

one question though, although the collapsible sidebar works, the rest of the forums does not expand fully, leaving a big empty space on the side. when i re-expand the sidebar, the space remains, pushing the forums even smaller to the left. is there a fix for this? thanks!

Fungsten 05-11-2010 06:10 PM

I have just the forums. Which update do I download.

Thanks, there is a more updated one now with correct copyrights.

As for your sidebar, something is glitchy about it. I went and checked yours and then cross-compared it to my two demo sites, and the sidebar works correctly unlike yours. Did you alter any vBulletin coding. Not a theme error.

All themes work for both forums and suites.

kenng 05-12-2010 04:14 AM

thanks for the reply. I will update with the new copyrights soon.

As for my skin, the only coding I changed were the footer (got rid of the time) and the header (added in OpenAds banner table). Which part of the script can I check for the sidebar collapsing? Also, one weird thing happened. in the beta forum, the CMS section has the theme applied on it just fine. The live one, however, refuses to use the green theme, and I have no idea on how to force it there. Help? Thanks in advance.

daveaite 05-12-2010 04:45 AM

Click on the pencil icon on the front page (home) and choose inherit

kenng 05-12-2010 05:34 AM

The inherit works!
Now left with the sliding problem!

thanks

Ricsca 05-12-2010 09:10 AM

Not sure at the moment, if any one knows why let me know.
Not a major issue at the moment as their are issues with the facebook connect function with vBuletin

Thanks anyone figure the problem out with facebook connect?

pedrossi 05-21-2010 06:00 AM

I found this code in the header file:

HTML Code:

</div>
<!--<div id="image2" style="display:none">
<div class="box2"><center><img src="vBheader/smallheader.png" border="0" alt="two" usemap="#m_smallheader" alt="" /><map name="m_smallheader" id="m_image2">

<area shape="rect" coords="616,30,658,46" href="http://forum-skins.com/?page_id=3#ecwid:category=171882&amp;mode=category&amp;offset=0&amp;sort=normal" title="Special Forum Skin Deals" alt="Special Forum Skin Deals" />
<area shape="rect" coords="545,30,607,46" href="http://forum-skins.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=10" title="Free vBulletin 4.0 Forum Skins" alt="Free vBulletin 4.0 Forum Skins" />
<area shape="circle" coords="794,38, 12" href="#" onclick="changeIt('image1');"></a>
</center></div>
</div>

<div>
  <div class="box1">
    <center>
      <p><img name="image1" src="vBheader/black header.png" width="800" height="100" border="0" id="image1" usemap="#m_black20header" alt="" />
        <map name="m_black20header" id="m_black20header">
          <area shape="rect" coords="665,79,755,95" href="http://forum-skins.com/?page_id=3#ecwid:category=161233&mode=category&offset=0&sort=normal" title="Premium Vbulletin Forum Skins" alt="Premium Vbulletin Forum Skins" />

    </center>
  </div>
  <div id="image2" style="display:none"> <img src="2.jpg" border="0" alt="two" /> </div>
</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>-->

Basically, the designer created a bunch of fake links to benefit the SEO ranking of his own forum-skins.com website. He is hoping hundreds of people will install this and not know what is going on because they won't look at the code and realize this is happening... it is probably just hurting everybody's google rankings and not even helping his own site that much. LAME.

FractalizeR 05-21-2010 06:33 AM

What template did you find this code in and what style is it? I ran search in styles and it yielded no results for "forum-skins.com"

LOL. Okay, please read the description before posting these kinds of things.

I said earlier if you download the Green SEO version with CSS+ JSS:
Quote:

Please note: Requires some advanced knowledge to customize it for per forum. It is possible though. I can not possibly support everyone request for help on JSS+CSS version.
All the other versions do not include this. The reason is because that version specifically has the "Expand or Shrink it. Beta 1.0" Meaning, I cannot possibly customize this for everyone, it would be impossible. However, I provided people with my code if they wanted to go in and do the necessary edits to adjust it to work with their sites. I wasn't trying to sneak in my own links!

Use the "Normal Green SEO" and it does not include it. lol jeeze.

So:
Download:
File Type: Normal & Dark GreenSEOTheme and Digital Forums.zip
File Type:GreenSEOFixedWidth.xml
File Type: GreenSEOTheme.xml

You obviously haven't spent more than 5 minutes look at the instructions to come here and give negative feedback about this theme.

edit: re-uploaded advanced package: made it more clear to users who download it. Also changed .xml to links "Change-your-link here-.com" That way this issue is clear that Im not trying to sneak links into themes. lol

julaga 05-21-2010 08:47 AM

thanks bro, look nice on my forum

Rhodesyo 05-24-2010 07:28 AM

Professional Green SEO is by far my favorite vb4 theme. One question - how would I increase the height of the black header area in order to accommodate a larger logo?

daveaite 05-24-2010 09:51 AM

Which version are you talking about?

It should adjust according to the size of your logo. Thanks.

Geez I'm an idiot and didn't even test enlarging the image before posting. Most other themes I've used required some basic html and css changes to make it work.. GreenSEO scaled automatically. Thank you for your reply - it is lookin good!

Edit: 4.0.3

daveaite 06-09-2010 12:59 AM

Oh okay, thanks

fluidswork 06-09-2010 01:43 PM

I got confused which one i will try.
Thank you daveaite.

Sharkyman 06-09-2010 09:56 PM

Hi, installed. Thank you very much, excellent style. I would like to make it so that the text is a different colour (orange or red) if either a thread or list of threads appear on the thread/forum indexes. Please could someone advise on how to do this (presume it involves changing the CSS file?)?
