Try adding this to your additional.css template

Must be from a mod, because that image does not even exist for the default vBulletin style

just updated this to the latest version and Im getting a problem with comments left on cms or blogs. Its displaying the text as white against a white background making it unreadable.

How come when I install this I do not get my forums listed tha same way as in the pics ?? They have "ANNOUCEMENTS" AND BLUEPEARL DESIGN" in the brown area then the forums listed under them - mine has nothing in the brown area and I can;t get the main forum to list in that area ?

People having problems with the text editor need to make sure they copy the contents of the 4.1.5 additional.css template to their modified skin. The new editor has been a pain for users to upgrade on dark skins

oh my bad...
I was looking at a different style..
open up your admincp and then Styles & Templates
then Style Manager
click go while stylevar is in the drop window
now do a search for "Background for Postbit-lite "

it's #FAFAFA default
change it to #262623

Quick question for you; I notice that quotes are displayed incorrectly, but I cannot remember the stylevars - I'll search but if you're online and know them by hand could you give a hand?

edit2; seems it's.. gone.. now.. maybe it was just a glitch.. will report back if I spot it again.

Edit3; found another similar glitch, it's on posthistory.php - for viewing the edit history of posts, it's blanked out with white on white, too. Any ideas where this style var is? :)

Well, you need to be an admin and you need to click for "Last edited by" on any edited post. Sure it's admin only, but figured I'd note it! :)

posthistory.css

and find

No problem mate, you will need to customize your profile using the adminsitrator option.

Pretty much you visit your own profile page (admin account) and you will see a box on the right hand side saying 'customize'

yes but it's now defaults in every style to the default colors ....

I see the customize box that hasn't changed..

I see as always set as sites default . but that was always there and never had to use it
that BS with more than one style ??

everyone doesn't customize there style in there profile so at least before there profile page matched the style they where using.

vb.com fixes 1 and breaks 2...
or am I still missing something..

This is the problem with custom profiles and it not using the stylevars, you style it for one skin and the others look crap. For example you style a white theme, but the black theme you also use on your board now looks wrong. And because you can't style each skin separately using stylevars there is not much we can do about it. Been requesting a fix since 4.0.7

I know how you feel about requesting fixes..
I submitted a ticket 4.1.0and it was fixed in 4.1.2 then from broke in 4.1.3 and now fixed again in 4.1.7

like I said fix one thing break 10 other things
