Thanksss

I need a link to the post. Just showing me a picture doesn't help me help you.
All I know is the image does not resize.

vBSEO has a issue with this how ever the resize works just fine.

P.S. You should set up a test board for testing mods not a live site.
P.S.S. You can disable mods so you can test others with out uninstalling.

Image Resize active? yes
Use Lytebox? no
Groupped
550 px width

thank you for help

BBR-APBT 02-02-2010 03:36 PM

Are you sure the plugins are active?

It is adding the code to the header how ever it is not rewriting the image code.

On a side note do you know what is adding this id="vBCodeIMG"

I do believe that is what is causing this to not work on your site..

javivi0 02-02-2010 03:44 PM

yes the plugin is active....

adjunt screen

I see no image in any signatures in that thread? The only image in that thread opens in lytebox. I do not understand the problem.

Also you have not marked as installed if you like this mod and wish to receive further support please mark as installed.

This is a good mod and I will gratefully continue to use it but there is a definite problem with WIN7 IE8. As posted previously you can't see the navigation images with that combination.

The work around is to use compatability view but when you do that it ruins images in the forum. The images break the bottom boundary of the post and half the image ends up in the next post(or sit behind the next post)........exactly the same way they do if you are viewing the forum when using IE6 or 7 if you hit Crtl+F5 the images display as they should.........Conpatability mode also casues issues with the smiles........It shows more smiles than default, about 10 exttra smiles are present, where they should be hidden behind "More" they are covering "more" in the quick reply of Blogs section and in the "Advance Posting Options" in the forum........ those two browsers are simply no good for viewing images with VB4.

Whilst not being able to see the navigation images using WIN7 and IE8 is not a overly massive issue........the fact remains the there is a problem with the code.......somewhere, albeit a small problem...

Like I said I am grateful for your efforts and if you can identify the problem it would be a sensational mod.

fly 02-03-2010 11:21 AM

I dont know if you're taking suggestions, but the end user's ability to turn this on or off themselves would be awesome.

Has to be a browser issue I said I will look into it. It will not happen over night. I do not have windows7. It makes it hard for me to test th bug.

The point of this modification was to stop images from breaking design. If you allow members to turn it off it will still break the design. So I will not add that option.

Skyrider 02-03-2010 04:09 PM

Man, I find this so weird. My CSS Storage is set to NO, yet I'm getting:
Quote:

f ($vbulletin->options['bbr_image_active'] && $vbulletin->options['bbr_lytebox_active']) { if (in_array(THIS_SCRIPT, array('showthread', 'showpost', 'blog', 'entry', 'vbcms'))) { $vbcsspath = 'css.php?styleid=' . $vbulletin->userinfo['styleid'] . '&langid=' . LANGUAGEID . '&d=' . $style['dateline'] . '&sheet='; $find = ''; $add_before = ''. PHP_EOL; $output = str_replace($find,$add_before.$find, $output); } }

No worries. Was just a suggestion, as it was something my users asked for. Some people apparently like those huge images...

That is because what you set this css is stored in the database as vbulletin does not allow us to add to the css roll up we are supposed to be allowed in 4.0.2.

Strangest thing..... Image resizer quit working.

I've uninstall-ed reinstalled and still can't get it to work. Yes, I made sure all the settings are set and it's "ON"

No new updates or additions to my products.

Anyone else have the same issue. Perhaps a hint to what may of caused this?

chingon 02-06-2010 11:27 PM

Installed and nominated, thank you.

Is there a reason why it wouldn't work in one place and not another?

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Disregard, found the problem.

User put in his own code rather then link to images.

Thanks for your input and trying to help.

Do what?

It is not supposed to work on a post review or in the editor at all.

It shows resized on the actual post.

123LearnToTrade 02-08-2010 05:58 PM

Any chance in getting this to work with the VBAdvanced CMPS system? I know you got requests to make it work with the actual VB CMS but how about the VBA one?

Sador 02-09-2010 09:06 PM

Works great, thanks.

Honk0815 02-09-2010 09:51 PM

Coming soon.

Trumpetrhapsody 02-16-2010 01:27 AM

Any idea when to expect the update?

My members are getting a bit irritated that they can't view the full size image when litebox is turned off.

Thanks for the great mod!

cardealercheck 02-16-2010 08:37 PM

Apologies, if this question has been asked and I missed it through the 19 pages but is there a way to speed up how quickly it resolves. Mine feels painfully slow. Thanks

Brew 02-19-2010 10:41 PM

BBR,

I know you've been working real hard on this mod, and I appreciate that. Thank you!

But I do have a problem understanding the certain settings between your mod and the built-in settings under vBulletin Options>Message Attachment Options

Ive tried to set the built-in setting to lightbox off, no resizing etc and set those things in your mod yet the image either comes out very very small and no lytebox or off to a new page with a thumbnail size or some other thing.

Can you give an example of exactly what the settings should be for both vBulleting Options>Message Attachment Options and the settings for your mod?

I've been experimenting for hours yet can't seem to find the right combination to make it work.

Thanks again for your time :)

EDIT: I'm running vB 4.0.2

Jabong82 02-21-2010 06:14 AM

Hey BBR great mod, worked for me in 4.0.1 but in 4.0.2 I don't have a lytebox.

Its kind of funny because I have another mod that uses a lytebox and that doesn't work as well.

Is this some problem with 4.0.2? Thanks.

enoobz 02-21-2010 06:43 AM

Working fine for me in vB 4.0.2

Also have it working in 4.0.2 with the lytebox. Didn't have to reinstall. Just turned the mod off before upgrading and then back on once the upgrade was completed
