The files need to keep the names they have in the .zip, there are 2 .swf files in there, the larger one is the more important one.

You have to rename the gameroomBasic.swf to gameroom.swf

It works fine now

I very much intend to purchase the paid version.

I did have a few questions though
1.) When do we have to purchase by to receive the $10 discount
2.) Do you know which games you plan to intend to add with the paid version? If not, do you have an idea of what you are working on?
3.) Can the admin kick out certain people or only allow certain people in a texas hold em game?

In the zip I downloaded I have Gameroom and gameroomBasic

If I attempt to rename the gameroom Basic, it prompts me to give a file name like gameroom(2)

You where one of 4 that got that one before I fixed it I think ;)

the bigger one should be gameroom.swf
the smaller one should be GameroomBanner.swf

gameroomBasic.swf is a testing name, as I have gameroom.swf as the paid version. I renamed the wrong one to gameroom.swf :(

The only thing it's when you made a new game, it's take few minutes to become available on member games list.

I would like to add sound, and add usertypes than can play the games. Am I supposed to adjust by editing the settings.php file and then save? Is sound also located within the settings.php file?

The readme.txt is a little out of date, the settings can be done in the admin tab within the flash plugin itself. Although you do still need to make yourself a admin first (through the settings) or you won't see it.

Sound is controlled by the .swf file itself, basically just some beeps and buzzers during the multiplayer games to alert you of your turn.

I'm about at the end of my rope with this one. It's a great mod, but I still cannot get images to load in FireFox. They work fine in IE though. Permissions have nothing to do with it, because the images load in IE and sometimes they will load in FireFox. Plugins and browser version have nothing to do with it because everything I'm using is 100% up to date. It's not just me that experiences this on my site, but most all of my FireFox using members and judging by some of the posts here I see others experiencing the same problem. I really want to use this mod and purchase the paid version, but I can't justify it without having it working in FireFox. I don't know if it's something with my settings, server or what. I can view the images and play just fine in FireFox on vBGaming.

Adobe - it is a flash based plugin, any browser needs a flash plugin to run it.

I'm quite sure it is permissions, I'm not sure how it is sometimes avoided, but if I go here:

I get a "Forbidden" error, meaning I don't have permission to load that image. It could be that some of them are readable, and others not, not sure as I can't check that.

Where as if I do the same on my site:

Your not the first person I've had ask me about this, correcting the permissions should get it going for you.

I understand what you're saying there and i get the same forbidden message in FF as you do when i look through my site url. FF shows the image on your site url for me as well, however, when i look in IE through my site url it shows the image. I set the permissions on my server the same as the permissions for the casino images (which I also have installed and works fine) but still no luck. I tried allowing all of the permissions, still no luck. Are there any other permission settings that you might be referring to? I do have vbulletin integrated with vbadvanced on my site.....could that have something to do with it possibly? I'm almost certain it's not your mod causing this problem but I'd sure like to get it figured out.

Do you happen to have anything set up to prevent hot linking images or anything like that?

A 403 error is a server issue, either the files are set to the wrong permissions (should be readable across all 3) or something else is telling the server not to send the image, possibly a .htaccess file misfiring?

btw - IE does the same thing if you try to link to the image directly, before having opened it through the flash, which is why I'm suggesting a hotlinking image prevention trick.

How do players obtain money to play? Once they are out what do they do? Can I give them more money? To add myself as an admin what exactly do I do?

Found it . You must add your admin user ID, not your admin usergroup #.

Where are the admin settings at? I can't find them in the AdminCP unless I just can't see it

Settings are all in the plugin, there is a admin tab. If you don't see it you need to add your userid to the list of admins in the settings.php file. After that you can add others or make any other changes through that tab. With the next update I am going to set it up that whoever imports the product file is set up as a admin right off the start.

Now that I have it installed and before the purchase, I have some other questions that possibly have been answered.

1.) Are there stats on chess like wins and losses? How do you set ranked and unranked games? I do not see the option
2.) What happens if a player leaves the game while its going on?

You select it on the game set up screen, but that option is not available in the basic version. Ranked games use ELO ranking system and track wins / loses / draws.

They have 1 minute to return, after being done 15 seconds the other person is given a screen telling them the other person is missing. They can leave as well and it is a draw, or wait until the timer runs down and the other person forfeits.

I just tested out the video poker and it brings up the cards but does not show the discard button.

Where did you test this?

Process should be
- click a chip.
- click on cards you want to discard
- Push discard
- receive payout (if any)

Meh... I can't get anything else but sevens in blackjack now, with this update.

I tested it in the Video Poker game.

But after I uploaded 0.9.9 everything started working again.

Installed latest, I have my userID set as admin in the setting.php. I can see the Admin tab with the 'Adjust Cash, Edit Language, Transfer Log' sub-tabs but none of them have the rest of the settings from the settings.php file. Where did these go?

I don't think you have the latest .swf file up, or if you do your browser cached it on you, clear cache and reload.
