No way, unless it's a frame... which would be a little ugly in my opinion. No plans on doing that though.

LOL Iam dumb noob and didnt read all of it, to make links work within user profile you need to place this code in navbar template(on very top): Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> :D Dream thank you very much for this awesome mod, hope you will upgrade it for vb4 Cheers |
I got a question, by adding radio/tv player, will there be consumption of our bandwidth ??
|
no, the consumption of the bandwidth is from the servers where the stations are.
|
I have a doubt, if any one are aware of this :
u have listed tv stations such as channelchooser rite, so if I stream their link on the forum, is that going to be an issue, as u have provided it could be used as well ?? can u explain a bit about this, as I am bit new to this media end we are working from 2 locations (2 different forums too), from USA and India, and I don't think either of the country opposes in any terms of restriction to media |
thanks for this awesome plugin
|
I love this mod and have been using it for some time now. the one thing i find it lacking is having each station as its own unique ID for the url. so instead of every station being http://your.site/radioandtv.php it would be http://your.site/radioandtv.php?station=13 or http://your.site/radioandtv.php?station=36 dpending on which station your listening to
|
you mean the ajax making everything on http://your.site/radioandtv.php?
I'm planning for 4.0, to remove the ajax and load new pages when choosing new stations... but it's planning still. And instead of making it a pop up window, make it a regular tab. |
How when open the Radio And Tv to open in new Window or tab...?
|
Excellent mod, works like a charm! :)
|
Is this working for anyone on firefox v3.5.2? When I tune to any station I just get "waiting for video"
Try it in IE8 and it works fine and shows the audio visualisation. |

Attention:
Those of you that are using vb advance for your portal page, adding a simply re-direct page before your forum folder will solve all your blank page issues when clicking link to Radio & TV on vba pages., without editing any templates or modifying this mod in any way. Follow install instructions exactly as they are layed out for you, change nothing. Download the attached re-direct radioandtv.php file and add it via ftp before your forum folder, you should not be ask to over-write anything. Don't over-write if ask to. Why is the re-direct page named the same as the radioandtv.php that comes with this mod? Answer: When you click radio & tv on your vba page, you will see in the address bar of the pop-up screen http:yoursite.com/radioandtv.php. We all know we didn't install this mod before our forum folder, so it does not exist, thus causing you to receive a blank page. With this simple re-direct page, your guest will not receive a blank page, they will automatically be re-directed to http://yoursite.com/forum/radioandtv.php. Its named the same because when you click radio & tv on your vba pages, its trying to find radio&tv.php outside the forum folder. With this, you do not need to edit any templates, thats the best part. Install instructions. Download the re-direct radioandtv.php Open it with your favorite editor, the only thing you will need to change is "forum" if your forum folder is named differently. Save your edit, if any. Upload it to your site root, before the forum folder. Then go to your vba page and click the Radio & TV link & enjoy! Note: This will not effect your radio & tv link while viewing vbulletin pages. Redirect pages can be found on Google, thats where I got this. |
there are an exploit for the radio, and I don't know how does it work
but I need how to fix it Code:
vBulletin Radio and TV Player Add-On HTML Injection Vulnerability |
Is there any merit to the exploit posted up at milw0rm at http://www.securityfocus.com/bid/35385
if yes - is there a fix for this? Jacquii. |

We will do a quick scan, but for a serious investigation we would need more details. If you have such details then please provide them to staff in a report (and not in a public thread) as per our Mod Exploit Guidelines |

Please let us know the results of your "quick scan" Thanks, Jacquii. |
Could someone please advise how I complete step 2. , i.e.
"Import product-radio-and-tv.xml using your products manager" Where is the products manager ?. Thanks cammot |
Admincp/Plugins & Products/Manage Products/Add/Import Product
Click browse, find the product-radio-and-tv.xml. Allow over-write & Import |
Thanks Blind Eddie - It worked thanks for your help. I have been able to install all the steps including navbar changes, which looks great - BUT the new link Radio and TV link won't work !. I get no response from clicking the link !. There's a small text at the bottom of my screen that reads: 'Javascript: openRadioAndTV ()'. I think it might be trying to access or getting the javascript to work, but not successful. I remember reading somewhere not to forget to install the javascript on the page - but I did'nt see how to do this on the install read file. There was a javascript.php file on the download - but I have not used it. Is there a particular page where to upload or export this javascript. Please advise how and where.
Many thanks cammot |

Hey blind-eddie;
I just want to thank you very much for your great help in helping me getting this mod to work. Hardly five minutes into it and I simply love it. Thanks again, cammot |
Where can i find Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar Radio stations??? Looking particularly for kiswahili language.
cammot |
guys im ashamed to say im completely new to all this...
could anyone gimme a dummies guide to installing this? |
I've installed the mod into my forum and the installation itself works well. Now, I'm stuck. In the Install.txt file, step three says "Reload your Admin Control Panel, go to Radio and TV >> Import / Export Stations"
The only problem is I can't find "Radio and TV" in the menu. Is it hidden somewhere on the lefthand menu or am I completely blind? |
Did you upload de cpnav file? That file should add the item to the left menu in the admin cp. To see it you would need to reload the admin cp.
|
Installed and working but can you tell me how to do this step please::
You can now translate phrases that begin with "rs_" to your language. |
Disregard that if you dont want to translate.
