This plugin is for 3.7 profiles.

The option is set I still receive that error message when any usergroup(even admin) tries to request awards. |
Have u set up a forum for the requests to go into

That was the issue. However the text for that option is very misleading. Quote:

glad u got it working ... my forum members love the awards - we have ones that only staff can give out and then fun awards that they need to earn and then can request them -- we then ( staff ) vote on them with the poll option
|
Any plans for this to have automated functions that can tie into things like posts counts and number of years they have been a member etc?

How could i remove the white box surounding the awards?
|
Nvm i figured it out, Your useing the " fieldset and legend " tags.
Ive also figured out how to move it to the signatures and other places i want it. |
Is there a way to remove the border from the medal box in the postbit?
|
Is there any plans to give awards to members automatically? Like say, an award for reaching X amount of posts, without having to have an admin/mod do it manually.

Currently the following is completed:
* Product installable only on vBulletin 3.7.0 or greater * Fixed typos in phrases * Removed unused phrases * Added additional placement options for Awards Showcase in postbit * Awards link to 'My Awards' tab in users profile I have a few more bugs to work out before I update the product on here. Additional bug fixes and features will follow. After I finish working out some issues that I'm running into I will try my best to implement the following: * Points values on awards * Awards issued based on postcount -- cron based? * Add option to remove Award Request Forum threads - leaving it 0 breaks the request option. Any ideas on how to implement the automation of issuing awards on postcounts would be appreciated. |
Points values on awards? Yes! I've really been hoping that we'd see that for quite some time, thank you!

When I set my options to display the tab on the left it works, but I want it to display last. But when I set it to right it doesn't go into a tab it displays underneath the tabbed section which I really don't want at all. How can I get it to display as the last tab?

The bug with some boards having a Forum ID of "0" for the Award Request Forum ID, I do believe I have figured out why.
You have to have either one of the following filled out for users to request awards

I probably wont even try to do forum specific.

Personally, I would like it for awards such as "Get X Posts in the ____ Forum" to help promote activity in different places for members.
|
Just doing some final bug testing, hack should be updated within the hour.
|
Nice job, looking forward to the updates.

<div align="center">Hack has been upgraded to v4.0.1</div>
* Product installable only on vBulletin 3.7.0 or greater * Fixed typos in phrases * Removed unused phrases * Added additional placement options for Awards Showcase in postbit * Awards link to 'My Awards' tab in users profile * Updated template cache ---- FILE EDITS ----- 'member.php' FIND: 'contactinfo' => array( 'class' => 'ContactInfo', 'title' => $vbphrase['contact_info'], ), ADD UNDER: 'myawards' => array( 'class' => 'MyAwards', 'title' => $vbphrase['my_awards'], ), |
This build has been tested and has been confirmed to be working on vBulletin releases 3.7.0 up to 3.7.3 PL1.
If anyone finds anymore typos in phrases, or knows how to get the member.php file edit able to be done automatically via plugins, send me a PM. Screenshots on first post have also been updated. |
Any idea on when the update would come that would be dealing with points per award, and maybe other things?
