This mod works for 3.7 as well as the last one, but it won't display on the VBA Portal page. Has anyone determined what works? "vmoods" doesn't do it. "vmoods_form" doesn't do it either. We've tried other various combinations to no effect.

I am having trouble getting this to work. It will not show the gifs.

are there any more mood images available? any new ones being created?
I have this mod working wonderfully on my 3.7.1 board but i would love some new moods. |

Okay, so there are a few different vmood folders - which one gets installed to the forum/ directory? I put the original vmood folder (with the macos and the vmood folder) and then tried with the vmood folder that has the .xml and the readme. After importing the product via product manager I still didn't get the moods to show up. Oh, and I'm using 3.7.
Help! :) ___ Edit - nevermind, silly mistake... I forgot to enable it in VBoptions. :o |

Thank you GPC......I tried the edit and it didn't work for us. I finally entered the full url path in the control panel and now it's displayed. The drop-down menu works, the images display, but the moods can't be changed from the cmps page. I can live with that. |
thanks ;)

Someone previously mentioned the issue with blank moods showing up as red Xs. I ran the database query updating '{blank}' to 'none' which resolved the issue for existing members with no mood set. However, at least some new members are showing red Xs and in those case reporting a problem with not being able to select a mood. Clicking on reset seems to fix this but a more permanent fix would seem to be needed.
It seems to me that the previous Mood manager add-on using {blank} worked just fine - perhaps going back to this in the next version would be an idea. |
Where is the moods located? I uploaded the XML file, and it is enabled and I can;t see to find it on my main forum it self..
Anyone know why? |

Can anyone help with this? |
Hey, just need to check - once this is added it won't give birth to the security token error?
Has the line of code been added so that it works with the security token feature? Just been having a lot of issues with this + mods Thanks! |
Hello, I've got vBmoods installed, but its not automatically adding it into my header. Can someone find a way to add this in the header? Manually? I have a new skin so not sure if its possible...

Just add $vmoods where you want it to appear.
|
Works Great! Installed and Marked! Thanks.

how can i show the status of the mood in vbulletin 3.7 in the profile under the username?
|
Hello .. I just wanted to get the picture to left and " My mood " text to right ..
How to do it ? |
I am having a problem with the images showing up on forumhome. The name of the mood shows up, but not the image. See the attached image for an example of what I am seeing.
The path in the ACP is correct The "Show images in the dropdown menu" is selected. Ideas? |
Just thought I'd mention that Opera doesn't like the CSS used for some reason. I had to use some creative CSS hacks to make this work across all browsers.

I'm having a problem with mine. I can get it to show up on one skin, but not the other and when I try to disable the below PM area and I try inserting $vmood_form into the navbar, it doesn't show up.
Where in the navbar file should I be putting it? |

The image for the mood 'Amazed' isn't in the images folder.
|
Out of curiosity, is this an upgrade from version 1.2.[something] of the mood manager mod, because it seems the versions numbers got confusing after the name change. Oh, and does this fix the XHTML validation error I pointed out ages ago?
|
Members who don't have a mood selected show a red X image. How do I fix that?
|
Find out where the broken image is and upload a transparent gif/png image to that location?
|
Howabout an excited Mood image? :)

I get this message on vbadvanced once I activated this hack. www.Hellboyforums.com
Line 1898 Char 2 Error Ojected Expected Code 0 For those wondering I figured out how to get the mood images to show on vbadvanced. For some reason my path on vbadvance to vbmoods was public_html/vbmoods/images without the forum. So I uploaded vbmoods inside my public html folder and it worked for vbadvanced. |
