honestly it works now as the minimum accepted amount bug is solved... BUT I have the problem that in vbulletin 3.7.2 I can not see the donations in the donation listing page... it shows only the standard phrase The main usage is given... it lets people donate again, but the earlier versions showed the donations listed and I had the chance to validate the donations and so on... missing this feature :( and well even reinstall did not help... any ideas?

I just noticed a bug.
I've kept 5USD minimum amount in donation. And set 5 options for donation-subscriptions and custom option also but even if user select any option in donation and click on donation it shows "sorry, minimum 5USD amount is accepted." though amont in option is more than 5USD.

I am using solido skin, but the donate link doesnt want to appear in the navbar after i enabled it from cp

i found a bug that in the last version wasn't present, i've setted it with a min ammount of 5 eur and with custom+select options, but if you go to do a donation and choiche a 10eur the system tells you that you cannot donate less of 5 eur

Firstly, I upgraded to the one from post 194, when selecting anything besides the $5 amount it would default to $5 and not allow more and not show the correct selection. I reverted back to the one on the main posting and it appears to work fine again.

Do all payments have to go through the donation on the frontpage to appear on the progress bar, or does it also show the donations made by subscriptions in the standard vb solution ?

Everything appears to be running normal - is there a way to have the donators list on the actual donation page instead of having two seperate links. I think it would be great for people to see who has donated when they click on the donation tab as some people might not figure out without digging on how to get to the actual donators list page.

I am interested in giving paid service to Cyb or any one who can turn this mod into an "budget manager mod". It will accept donation from paypal and other local banks so that donators can donate to local bank accounts of our forum. On the other hand, it allow assigned user(s) to do simple accountant jobs such as money in/out, expenses pivoting, etc.

Security Vulnerability or peculiarity.?

Just logged on, and admin ( which is me ) has donated ( tried to but failed ) $5

However the username is an ip address?

Its not one of my members addresses, so could it be a Guest?

We dont limit which usergroups can donate, so does a guest donation, email admin from admin, but just show their IP address in the ( do=donlist ) page?

Or is it a security vulnerability

yeah - I've reported that IP thing a number of times. When I get that the money doesn;t appear in my PayPal account :(

I've missed $120 in donations that way...

I think this is a guest clicking through to paypal, then not proceeding with the donation. I've had this from guests and members - they were just "having a look", not realising that anyone would know...

interesting. I had not considered that.

In such a case the mod should wait until receiving confirmation of the transaction from PayPal before posting to the donation page, no?

Donations are manually confirmed by an admin I believe - there is no Paypal confimation integration (or what ever the proper name is). I think it is an "undocumented feature" be able to see who shows an interest in the donation system, even if they don't follow through with it...

I have vb 3.7.2 and have the donation bar and I have manually approved a couple of donations but the value has stayed at ?0

It's not looking good for my donators when it's not updating.

The only change I made was changing the phrase text for the navigation bar to Please Donate ?

I've added one donator manually and he has been added to donator group successfully but title of that usergroup hasnt been overridden to register usergroup. Those who donated themselves and i've confimred donation, are showing title correctly according to donator usergroup. [title e.g. my title here is member]

I have a problem with custom amounts.
I have selected the 'suggested and custom' amounts button in the admin cp and the dropdown works and people can donate fixed amounts.
But when they select custom, there is a text input box...they can then type in the number they want to donate and when they press submit it says

'the minimum amoount to donate is £5' or whatever I have the amount set at...??

even if the custom amount is 100 or 500

Does anyone have a fix for this or any ideas please?

Is there a way to sort of stimulated the people who donated to my site? kind of a "This member donated to support XXX", I don't want to place a bar in where every member can see who donated and how much but a simple "something" on the member's profile or... be my guest and suggest me.

BTW. Once you Confirmed the payment and Move to Donator Group... what happened? I can't see anything so far, I did it to one of my members but nothing is showing on his profile or noone on the page that I can tell this member make a donation. Also, where can I find the Donator Group?.

You can not find Donator group, you should create it. You can give it different colors, titles, permissions, etc...

What are the unconfirmed donations? I can see a list of people, an amount and this: Total Donations: 25
Confirmed: 1, Unconfirmed: 24

Are those people who has "played" with the donation system but hasn't donated yet?

So I have to create the Group.... hum, let me see, I don't have groups on my site, well Members, Admin and Guests, I don't know exactly what a Donator Group will affect my site, do they have a forum for themselfs or is just like any other member and I give the permissions?.

Two other questions:

1. Where can I find the mod in Spanish or where can I translated myself? (cannot find almost anything Paypal related under Phrases Admin).

2. Is it possible to have a drop down menu in where the Members can choose in what currency they which to pay?. I have members from all over the world.

Is there anyway to put an expiration on the donation? like so the users can donate for 12 months and then get moved back to a normal user?
