Now let me ask you Darkwaltz4 when i set up a Drawing and go to by some Tickets i can see how big the Jackpot is at that point. Is it possible to have xxx Credits Jackpot shown somewhere else at the same time, like under my credits balance in the nav bar?

not without some addoning. ill keep it in mind for the next major release, the top richest users and lottery stuff everyone wants everywhere :p like modules on homepage or cmps modules, and now under the navbar. ill try and figure something out eventually

Im a Vbplaza user which the way Old old version ! I do like their Gift shop and ribbon..i wonder if Vbcredit have it too ? Item shops ? How about effect for Username and user title ?

I've been following vbcredits since it started and from what I understand it will have all of those and more. vbcommerce will be much better than plaza (which is not a slam against vbplaza.)

That is why Im not switching to vbcredits just yet. They keep saying their working on a gift shop like vbplaza but its been almost a year if Im not mistaken and still no gift shop.

A lot of their last year was probably spent working on mods and not releasing them, or releasing vB Credits Release Candidate 2, or vB Triple Triad, so they probably do have other stuff to worry about. Still want vB Commerce and Customiser though, since said mods will have all the stuff people here seem to be wanting and can't describe properly...

Their making sure the core script is as perfect as possible first. Too much hinges on vBCredits being completely stable. Something a lot of the other point systems didn't do starting out.

once the site is back up (we have moved on to third party hosting cause the issues on inhouse hosting were just too numerous) I will be detailing the updates to the site and release date information :D including something new we are outfitting the site with

It says do the 14 total edits to the 10 total templates. Some templates have more than one edit.

vbplaza is no longer available for free. vbplaza comes with a preset shop. vbcredits has all of the points-earning features of vbplaza plus more. read the feature lists, I actually havent studied vbplaza closely enough to be more specific.

the site is back up, so you can download that addon in the thread I linked in my response :)

^You also forgot that vB Credits at current is very secure, and has no known security issues while vB Plaza had security issues and multiple people tried and failed to fix the modification...

we have it currenly on 3.6.x now we are moving to 3.7.x and what changes have to be made to make it work with the current creidts of the members?

Well, this is a nifty mod and I like it very much, but what do I do with it? I do not see anything to spend the credits on. I saw a casino mod that allowed the use of this money system, but what else is there? Is there a store of any kind?

What is the problem?

Is anybody working on getting VBCredits intergrating with ibProArcade v2.6.7+ ?

I know there was something that worked with the older version of ibProArcade, but I dont know who or what :o

I'd like to deduct tokens for members playing/saving scores etc....

This is a confirmed bug in the links... try searching for text instead. The phrases are still there, just no longer in the GLOBAL group. Also, if you hover over the links you should see the variable name for the phrases, which if you search for them in the phrase system it should find them in their new phrasegroups.

if you were using the old version, just apply the file edits. full installs need all instructions followed, not just the file edits.

As soon as its out and I see good reviews Ill be downloading it. From what the author writes and from what I see here and their site it looks very promising.

Just got this installed and am very impressed. I can't wait until vbcommerce comes out, I will be installing that right away! I also appreciate that you guys take so much time to bug test, makes me very confident in installing the product!

One quick question, this may not be possible, but thought I'd ask. on the post count credits, is there any way to make posts in a specific forum give you more credits than another foruM? As in if they are posting in one forum they get only 5 credits per post, but are posting in one of the other forums they get 15 per post?

Or the other question I guess if I wanted to make posts in a specific forum not count for their credits I could jsut turn off posts counting for that forum?

Out of pure curiosity, you mentioned the next version of vB Credits (I think v2) earlier, so what exactly is there to add? I mean, most possible uses are probably covered by vB Commerce and Customiser, or Limiter, or whatever...

i want to repeat i wont be working on v2 for quite some time as there are other pressing hacks to finish :p probably not until the end of the year.

but theres some features people have wanted that require changes to the core of vbcredits such as logs. as ive been developing vbcredits ive been adding on the different requests and now that they are all there the system could really use an optimization over all of them (instead of just adding things in here and there). also a lot of the mini-hacks inside vbcredits like the bank, lottery, and post award system really could use more controls and stuff so i might remove them to addon status to make them more optional as well as more things to do with them. finally of course theres some new stuff to infuse credit support into that has been introduced in vb3.7 :D

so as you can see, vbcredits is far far far from finished, at least to me

I want a statement system, so ppl can view their monthly or weekly statements, including credits and debits.

I want integrations, with other hacks.. which possibly dont exist lol, to allow ppl to buy stuff, for their profile, avatar and acct.
