This has REALLY messed up my forum I can not edit usergroups in anyway while installed if I edit a usergroup it starts to create a new usergroup each time I do an edit and when I disable it or uninstall it I get this error on editing a usergroup:

Please tell me how I can remove this off my board asap please

Ps.: and the collor pallete in Usergroup Manager still not showing up in Opera

No I think you haven't followed update instructions or install instructions. You have to import a language file after install of the xml product.

About color palette, this is corrected now in the release that is just coming !

I think there might be a problem with files, have you uploaded the xml files that are in the archives : Files/includes/xml ?

soabout the image issue.. i tried uploading down9x9.gif it but i still cant view the arrow pic
and about the input field it would be terrific if u did that includding having usergroup to see the text and other dont like the admins

Thanks very much for making the pop up menu (when you click the down arrow) not move when you slide over other arrows and to show up directly under the curser when you have many chats viewable :)

I do have a question on the PM channel though. Is it correct when I have a PM with someone through the PM channel... That anyone that has PM rights can see our conversation? If we use PM without setting up the channel no one else can see it though.

No no this is not correct, channel is just a location so even in its own channel, the PM are only seen by the one who sent it or the one who received it :)

So, I should be able to set up a new channel.... (add new channel- title: PM--Description: PM--name of the channel image: mgc_cb_evo_pm--warn users upon new message in channel: yes--activate the channel: yes [save])

Then when we use the drop down send PM and carry a PM conversation... someone else with PM permissions can click the PM channel and see our conversation. Am I setting it up wrong?

Are you saying that actually someone with permissions to see pm can see others pm when in a channel ?

Hum perhaps a Z-Index problem.

Can you edit the mgc_cb_evo_chatbit_menu template and changed z-index : 1 to z-index : 50 to see if that fixes it.

Yes sir. PMs between me and other can be viewed by anyone with PM permissions.. Feel free to use your admin login to my forum and check it out... You will see all PMs through that channel. We're there now.

Is it possible to allow users to select a different style for the chatbox? It's just that some of my users browse at work and they'd like to have the chatbox in a much subtler style to the rest of the forum so that they can keep it open.

No, i had almost the same problem that Rickeo had, but i've figured out how to solve - and the problem isn't related with chatbox, that's because i've edited my message.. :)

I can't use /pm stoebi hi, because i get always the error issue:
Error : The user doesn't exist.

The command /pm works only, if you use the menu command Send a private chat to Stoebi once. Each user which want to use this command need to use the menu command Send a private chat to <user> before.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Import mgc_cb_evo_cmd_pm.xml
2. Save
3. Rebuild bitfields (not really necessary)
4. Change to you forum with your Chat installed and refresh your forum.
5. Try the command /pm <user> <input> directy without using the menu command Send a private chat to <user> first

/pm stoebi hi is not a good syntax.

Check the help in the chatbox you'll see that you're using it wrong :)

because the moment i submit my msg thats when i start counting and stop until i see a msg posted on the shoutbox ;)

i think it has not changed there is the time to seend the message and then the time to refresh chats in the chatbox.

You cann do it for each usergroup in the admincp :)

From the prior non EVO version? No. When you read the readme for the new evo versions step one of install says "Step 1 : If you hadn't previously installed the chatbox, skip this step
1/ If you want to keep an archive of the chats from the previous version, download them from the archives page of the chatbox as we unfortunately have to remove them due to the incompatibility of the new version and the lack of time to write an import script."

As far as from the evo versions... I have updated from the first evo up through the current and the archives have stayed through each update (so have user settings.) Hope that helps :)
