tried to upload the files again but the videos are still not playing. Only the link to youtube appears. See attachment.

Any ideas what went wrong?

Im still using the one I installed at 3.6.8 and Im using 3.7. C1 with it just fine. You dont give any real reason to upgrade to this version. Is there a difference? I dont really want to set this all up again. lol

Are we able to disabvle to Recent Media box? I love the mod but I dont really want something that will do that thing i nthe main index. I just want the forums to look like they aleways are and when you go to the vbtube section it has that stuff.

Hey, I've uploaded everything to my forum root, except for the xml product file (went in 'Includes' folder), ran xml and everything loaded, did the table fix, and then deleted.

When it comes to running the vbtubepro.php file, it comes up with this:

Just installed this and noticed some bugs it seems.

1. Mysterious "1" category now in drop down category list when editing an already approved video. There is no "1" category name in the admin panel.

2. One of my categories called Music shows (2) videos uploaded. However, there is only one uploaded, by me and only one shows up in that category.

Feature request:
- ability to post comments (and have them moderated too)
- rating ability
- report video (or comments)
- favorites
- better category listing (looks cramped now when there are a handful of category options)

OK, maybe I am blind, but how do I add categories? I do not see an option.

Is there a way to just tell it to display all videos on youtube in a particular category instead of adding videos 1 by 1?

go into vbtubepro.php >user menu (right hand side) >Add/Up Media

Then fill the details of the tube you want etc........

I did that. Although I could add media, I saw nothing that allows me to add/remove/edit a category

There is an edit / delete option under the actual uploaded added media .............yes any member can add media etc aslong as the usergroup is allowed

TBH, i don't see the sense in having the ability to share photos with this, i think it should be strictly videos. There are many other mods to share pictures with.

Is there a limit to the number of catagories you can create? And can you create subcatagories from main catagories?

Upload it to your forums root run it and after then delete it from your server..

This file creates the vbtube table at usergroup...

anyone know where the permissions page for this plugin is? my users dont have permissions to view the page and I cant seem to figure it out?

1. Yes you can change the drop down list so that only one site is default and "only" site to allow from. (it is a script edit, don't know if it's available in the free version though)
2. You add categories through ACP>vbtube>Add Category
3. With the Pro package there is a browser which allows you to one click add videos from youtube.

It's an added feature, if you don't like it, turn it off in ACP. Nobody will know it's even available.

Check acp>vbtube>categories or add category

Edit as you please.

After install, go to acp>usergroups>[specific user group here]>vbtube permissions and define accordingly

Any chance of an add-on for placing a block of thumbnails in a vbadvanced block that when clicked goes to that page?
