There is a conflict with this Mod and the Email Integration (New threads/replies by email) Mod, if this modifcation is installed then imported emails come in over and over.

Here's hoping both authors can work together to fix the problem.

it does work actully ,

but u will face some problems(errors) in 3.7.x , when trying to update or change the Email from the user cp , (if u turn on verify email when updating it from usercp).

ps : installed on 3.7 beta 5 , but i had to turn of email verfication when updating it from usercp so i wont have any errors .

Is there an ETA for the 3.7 version?

Brilliant, it sure helps to stop spammers joining, since installing this, spammer signings have been ZERO! before I installed this hack I was getting 10 every 24 hours.

Well, my mailbox is spammed with returned error mail because stupid people keep on registering with fake emails. I wonder if there is anyway from stopping this from happening.

Is it possible to check email correct or not in the first step? If the email does not correct, the message will be shown that member does not type correct his/her email.

I got some problem with server when the activation code does not arrive their mail box or delays. Therefore I would be happy it this modification can do.

I like this add-on and it is working fine, but there is a little bug.

When user change his email he can not return to his email again, because it says email is in use although email is not in the use and was removed from user account.
I guess VMail has some sort of memory of it and it doesnt clear this memory at changing an email.

Or the question is: How long does it keep emails in nlp_vmail ?

Great hack, installed. This should drop the amazing number of "awaiting for e-mail confirmation" users due to fake e-mails.

One suggestion, though.

After sending the confirmation e-mail the user needs to re-type its e-mail address on the registration form. It would be nice to change the system to automatically fill the e-mail address fields as the e-mail address has been already confirmed.

I am having a strange problem. I have a lady who has been trying to register, but having difficulty. She tried it several times and now it will not accept her e-mail address because it says it's already in use. However, when I go and check in the Admin CP, her e-mail address is not found. I was told by vBulletin that this was an issue with your mod. Can you help, please?

We are getting the same issue, everything was working great until 3.6.9 upgrade. You will only get this error, if you close the registration page while waiting for the e-mail. If you click the link in the e-mail you will get the "You chose not to agree.." message.

Any fix coming for this?

Very interesting mod, but yet it can largely be recreated by setting a Usergroup Promotion to delete users after 30 days who stay in Users Awaiting E-mail Confirmation.

Unless ezbounced or other hacks are installed who mess with that.
