For anyone who is giving help on this mod, What's this error about, I'm getting in the header of the page when I clean-ban sombody, the process does work but this comes up.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /
/.../..(MY ROOT).../...//includes/class_dm_user.php(2147) : eval()'d code on line 22

My unknown friend, I just wanted to thank you for this mod - it was one of the best ever made for Vbulletin. I had used this add-on to ban many a spammer. I came here to ask for some help with an issue, but instead, I find sorrow.

I agree completely kevcj. I'd love to have a chance to thank Mark for this wonderful mod. It was among my favorites, too. I am going to pray for Mark's family as they deal with this loss and that God provide them with comfort during this difficult time. God bless Mark and his family.

As Mark's brother (and fellow vbulletin tinkerer), I realise the usefulness of mods like this one and I want to see his work continue to be useful. The vb.org admins are asking other coders who may want to take over and I will approve them to do so in order to make sure that Mark's contributions do not go stale.
If anyone has any quick fixes for this in the mean time, please contact me directly and I'll make sure it gets updated, fixed and posted quickly.

This is one of the most used and useful mods I have ever had on my vBulletin forums. It has worked so well for me that I have never found need to mess with the code or report a bug. He did good work and his work made many an admins life so much easier. It's a sad day and a great loss.

this addon is one of the best addon that i'm using in my forum .

anyway it was not work on 3.7 but after read this post , now it works well in 3.7 gold edition.

Everyone - there have been a number of suggestions now regarding minor modifications to make this work on 3.7.
In this post, the suggested line had been added that had apparently fixed it. However, I have seen some other adjustments suggested since.
Although I am not supporting this mod, I have the ability to update the code that is posted here to make it easier for everyone.
I will change the xml for download here to a beta version that includes the extra line as suggested by Mark B and tekguru back on page 15. Also, if there are additional mods needed (as suggested by gabrielt) then please let me know via PM and I will include these in a beta as well. If that all works properly and no one has any serious complaints, then I'll re-post this in the 3.7 mods area.

(I've just tried 1.2b on my vb3.7.0 and it seems to work OK now)

srry too hear about this also, he had a good eye on what ppl liked when it came too coding for Vbulletin like "One-touch Spam Ban and Cleanup" he also did "Country Display for Who's Online" that I thought was a cool mod.. rest in peace!

hscorp - You could try reading before you post. Just one page back from here, a fix is mentioned. I have posted a beta version. Perhaps you could try using it, as it will fix your issue.

@ everyone complaining it doesn't work: it works fine for me, although there is obviously no link on the full profile page as it's been redesigned.

Our condolences to the plugin author. That is very sad news.

Instead of adding the link back to the profile page, I was able to add a "ban" link to the new user emails by adding the following text to the email body template:

Ban this user:
$vboptions[bburl]/misc.php?do=spamcleanconfirm&u=$userid

This saves the admins an extra step of visiting the profile, especially when responding via mobile phones.

it works well in 3.7.X but it just doesn't remove profile messages created by spammer .

any idea ?
