Has anyone integrated this with the ibPro Arcade yet?? I think the addon is being worked on but I was just wondering!! I am dying for a cash system to run the arcade!!!

I downloaded this mod the other day and it works fine....but I just read that there may have been an update to allow changing or altering the points manually in AdminCP for each user. This would be great although I cant see it in my version installed 2 days ago.

Do i need to uninstall and download and install the zipped mod again at the top of this page (if its been updated) or is the reference to viewing points in user management something that is still being worked on?

He just updated it few mins ago to do that...download the new one and import the new product click overwrite when you do so...it will give you the option to edit manually in admincp. ;)

I just saw you said you installed it the other day....you might have to re-upload the xml in the includes folder, I'm not sure if he updated that since you installed it or not. So you might be better off uploading it also just to make sure.

Ive only installed Nex points and Nex points attachments which work great and i understand this ok. However, Ive not installed Nex Points VBbux yet. This looked a littel tricker for a nub like me.

Can anyone give me a very brief guide to what the VBbux zip file does once installed?! Thanks in advance.

it will import your vBbux points... if you don't know what is vBbux, forget about it!

OK I'll forget about VBbux. There seems to be a lot of negative posts regarding that mod on other threads.

For now though, your latest update shows "Cash in Hand" and "Cash in Bank" at the bottom of each users profile in Admincp.

My forum shows "Cash/points (in hand)" on each post and in UserCP. Is there any way of also showing "Cash in Bank" on each post and in User CP? I plan to manually delete some of "Cash in Hand" and move to "Cash in Bank" when I pay people. Thanks again. Keep up the good work. I really AM learning!

The cash in bank is for the Bank system that is coming up soon... you wil lbe able to manage such points later on... :)

I have it installed now on my site but how do you Donate money to other members? I didn't see a function for that! any news on a ibPro integration addon??

there is no donation system in it actually... or it would be indicated in the first post...

also, the vbPro integration is not in my plans for the next days.. you have to understand that coding takes time, and time is not free when you have to feed 3 kids and a wife... i use my spare time to provide support for this script, and actually it is more than 2 hours per day...

in the next days, the focus is on the adminCP system for managing points, adding new features have to be tossed for a moment...

One of my registered forum members is NOT accumulating points when posting, even although everybody else is? Whilst strange, I cant see why not? Searching through User permissions in AdminCP, her settings are exactly the same as everybody elses and she's clearly posted today and yesterday?! Any suggestions? I dont think shes noticed yet but thought i would bring this to your attention Nexialys. Her points remain at zero no matter how many posts she makes. Hope you can advise. Thanks.

When I tried to import from vbbux, it's not importing the bank points at all.

what about the option to get a point very time one of ones referrals posts?

I had no issues with it... they were imported fine, they are just not 'accessible' at the moment.

there is no possibility of a user not gaining point where everybody else does... there is no permission on this system... yet!

i don't see how this could not work on her own account...

actually the points in bank are stored in the nex_points_bank field, so they are present... you can go in the adminCP and edit a member, you'll see the detail in the Nexia's Points System part... the problem you have is that you can't use them yet because you did not install another bank system, and the one planned here is not built yet...

you ask to create a addon that will give the referrer some points when his/her referred friend post in the forum ?!

this is possible... easy to add... but i think you'd be the only one on this community to need this addon... the point here is to build tools that will profit to everybody... you can contact me in private if really necessary to your board though.

actually it is trivial, because you would ask 2 queries for each post made on the forum, added to the existing 1 addition from the actual system.. one query to check the referrer, and one to the referee... if your forum is big enough, you would have an overheating sql server just for that... :erm:

I would be interested in something like that too (points for referrals posts).

But not at the expense of overloading a server.. no other way of doing it without the queries? (No I don't have this installed yet but have been watching closely)

logically, it is impossible to use this system without queries on the database... it writes stuff into it...

i've checked closely, this would add one query per post made... so it is possible... i may add this in the shelf of the "referral and registration" part... will do that part in a day or two when the AdminCP is built.

What about something like a weekly cron that checks how many new posts your referrals have made and gives points based off of that. Would that be better than a query every post?

cron jobs are good when everything is quiet and steady... you can store as many informations as you want when nothing move...

but if you have posts that are deleted or moved or moderated, etc... that makes a lot of things to check...

btw, a single query takes something like 0.003sec. to execute... the query itself is not a problem... the serverload for such feature is taken into consideration when you have a popular board, but it is not the only feature you have to take care of... like the "mark forum as read" is more server intense...

I tested the deduction again for thread now.. and it's still wrong.. it's minus-ing the thread as (thread+post) points.

If vbbux is replaced by this will VBplaza work with this until a suitable store is made?

vBbux was dropped due to some exploits and due to the non-followup of the developpers... he disapeared from the planet.

vBplaza is part of vBbux... same thing then...

NPS is not and will never be a replacement for vBbux... vbplaza was for me a pain and a complete loss of resources for a real forum... and i'm not interested to make a mimic of this tool with my system.

ok, i don't know now... why did i test the same situations and did not have the same results...

i will not work on it anymore until someone play with the calculations and find the bug... i lost too much time on this part - that not everybody will use anyway, and i did not finish the adminCP due to that...

i'll finish the release and come back to this bug once i'm rested... sorry.
