I checked the site and two out of three skins work. I even backed up the templates and then copied the working skins template edits over the non working skins templates and same result. ( I also did a side by side comparison and found no differences in the templates) Error displayed: Quote:

Then I don't know how to do what you are asking. I'll polk around but I'm not sure how to do this.
|
I just went to Usergroup Permissions, clicked on Admins, then edited you to All Yes (was set to No)... now does it work??
|
Pull his admin account (AdminCP--->Users--->Search For Users) up and in the top left drop down box select "Update Administrator Permissions" and give him permissions to edit the styles/themes.
|
It is not located in usergroup permissions. That sets permissions for the entire group. You need to edit his specific account as I said above.

This is awesome!! I know several members on my site will like it. Thanks for helping me out. ;)
|
Not a problem :D
|
Well, I'd love to say this mod works perfectly on my site, but it doesn't. I installed, following the directions, word for word. I see no evidence that this mod exists on my site. Obviously, I'm forgetting something- what is it?

ACP - Forums and Moderators - Click on a forum - Look at the bottom to see if it's activated.

Updated instructions to show how to configure, also I made a new vboption so you do not need to change X in templates, now under vboptions

Attachment 65445 And yes, I reinstall/check all the templates. Thanks in advance. I have VB v. 3.6.7 |
well that looks like a newthread template problem, seems like it wasnt edited correctly, recheck them again
|
Can this be edited to use for a car site ? car artilces / guides etc?

Right after all this: Quote:
BTW, I checked the other template changes in newthread and it seems fine. |
yes, thats at the end ;)
|
I installed, ran the template changes, and everything, but the 2nd configure option doesn't show up in vBulletin options.
Whenever I enable it in a specific forum and try to post a thread, it looks normal, and when I hit submit, it says I must fill in all fields. I tried reimporting the product several times, and redownloaded it and imported it as well. Same thing. 3.6.6. |
Wierd, I will reupload a new one, but everything look ok, let me know if theirs any more trouble
