Only one disadvantage which is it really slows down the forum home.

I removed it after users complained of lag when it was running. Its a nice mod but sadly uses too many resources when its being displayed.

Running under 3.7.4 First Class....
|
nice mod and installed.
One question, how do you make the flakes etc fall further down the forum, seems a very short level before they fade out. |
this was working fine last year but i have just enabled it again and it seems to have broken.
In Firefox it will not show on the cmps portal page, but it is ok on the forums. In IE it works on the cmps page but the snow is just boxes with a red cross, again it is fine on the forums. In chrome the snow is missing again and it leaves trails down the page of the cmps. Any ideas?? |

i fixed that by changing the js as in this post. https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=217 |
its ok i fixed it.
just make the js var path to the pics explicit open the js file and change var snowsrc="season/ghost/snow2.gif" to var snowsrc="http://www.myforum.com/season/ghost/snow2.gif" |

Hello,
give it a feature that normaly user of this forum to make Season Effects on and off? Because so many people has very lag, but i dont want to make it off :/ (sry for my terrible english^_^) |
love the mod, thanks jordon for your update file which means i now have snow falling full length of the page, and ive got no lag problems as of yet.
if i copy say 1.js for all the files and change the information in it for each, so where it is 1, change to 3,4 etc, would that make all the images for each fall the full page length? oh and if anyone wants to see the large snow flakes go full page length visit HighWayGamers.com |
very nice mod .....installed

OK, see image: This is what I see in Admin CP (3.5.4) & apparently the default (small flake) works as the site has 'snow' , but how can I resolve the options? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2008/12/33.jpg |
This is very good, and its the perfect time of year to add Snow Pixels.
Thanks. |
I added this to my forum and my forum no longer shows. (Just a white page).
I un-installed everything and Put the templates back the way they were and it still just shows a White page instead of my forum. What's happened and how do i get it back to normal please Guys? |

Not sure if this has been posted but I just wanted to inject a little info here in the event you choose the "clovers" it won't work as there needs to be an additional JS file because it is missing. Easy fix is to duplicate the 12.js file, name it 13.js then open the file and change the easter.gif filename to clover.gif and save and then it will work properly.

In order to get this to work on VBACMPS pages you have to edit the javascript files and where the image url is, make it the full url including http to the image.
That's where vba cmps is getting confused. EDIT - plus putting in the full url in the header and forumhome templates of course. |
Working for me in 3.8.2. Thanks ^_^
|
Thank you very much, looks so good & joyful!
|
working GREAT in 3.8.3
|
how to make the ghost and other season work when scrolling down the forum???
|
/me Clicks installed...
Works just fine in 3.8.1 |
The green clover .js is missing from the zip
I have provided it here. Just unzip and upload it to the season folder. |

Anyone know if this is safe for 3.8.5?

Anything like this for version 4?
|
Does this not work in 4.1.4? I have been trying all night to get it to work, and was reading all the posts from the beginning, but they became redundant, so I skipped to the ends and someone else is asking if this works in 4.x.
I really wanted this for the 4th of July :( |
Can this be installed on Version 4 or not?
I've run into 2 problems so far trying to install and really wanted it for the 4th of July of but no one is responding to the questions here: 1) it doesn't like the /if in the header as now my version has /vbif instead of using that kind of tag (I am not a coder and don't know how to fix this problem) 2) There is no $header in the forumhome (both of these are in the directions on installing it) |
