These are not large templates so it is more efficient to have them everywhere rather than run a conditional on every page.

It's not better serverload-wise, but it is better from the development point of view - if I need those templates elsewhere then I won't have to break my head over my the tempaltes are not cached.

iam new customer at vBulletin and i need Hide_Hack to install it on my Forum .....

thanks for your reply.
with the word "just" i mean i just downloaded it (monday evening, 1/2 hour ago) and installed it.
the files on the server here or on your home are still dated from sunday, 19:22

maybe there needs to be another fix?

You can disable STG in both "normal" (limited) and "abnormal" (expanded) editions. ;)

The expanded edition has its own thank you system, and you should delete the one that you have installed. You'll lose the thank you's though, as we do not have an importer yet. We will probably make one soon though.

Hi Psionic, I just recently purchased the expanded edition and it's awesome!!! working out very well for myself, though members often post stuff as attachments as they're small size files. I ran a search on this thread and couldn't find anything relating to "attachment". Is there any way at all I can hide attachments?? I doubt it if it could be done directly because you can't wrap the attachment in hide tag, though what if you used the attachment id code?

If not then is there any chance this feature can be put into future version??? Hiding attachments is very very useful for my site.
