You need to edit the plugin (Top Posters (1)) to change misc.php to /forums/misc.php
I'll probably edit this in a future version to make the path an option in the settings. |
Thank you Paul. That did it! :)
good job
updated!
(thx Paul) |
Thank you! It works perfectly. Thanks for the path option. :)
Clicking top posters after recent upgrade now takes me to my smilie page and this error :-
Quote:
First, re-install it.
If that fails, uninstall and re-install it. If that fails then you will need to disable all other modifications using the misc_start hook - if the error still occurs then post it, as it will show the correct line number that is causing the error. |
Thanks Paul .. found the problem. It was created by this hack.
Top posters now works fine  |
Good to hear. :)
Hi,
How can we list the people who TOP THREAD STARTER after a specific date ? Thanks. Best Regards. |
You cannot do that with this modification.
I have been using this hack for some time now but have always had a problem. One of my top posters isn't listed in the stats. Is there anyway to rebuild the info?
I just updated to your recent version but that didn't fix it. Thanks for the great hack. |
The information is not "built" - it's realtime, calculated when you visit the page. I would guess your poster is in a usergroup not currently set to be included in the settings.
Is it possible to have a top thanks mod that is similar. like within a day, a week, a month etc?
I'm sure it is, but it won't come from me I'm afraid.

www.thepublicenemy.net Check user JohnnyRingo and Locco. Both should be on the top posters lists based on their current posts amount but they arent. Any ideas? |
Sorry, but without admin access (and the ability to run queries) there is nothing I can tell you.
Sorry, how i can remove the link from navbar?
That depends on how you added it in the first place.

Nevermind I just fixed it. I enabled all usergroups and that works so I will tweak it and add more usergroups to the search list.
if i change the amount of days, the column header doesn't change with it --
-- for example, if you change col. 3 to 365 days, it still reads 28 at the top -- :| |
Correct - you have to edit the phrase as well.

The same as you edit any phrase in vbulletin.
Top this month and top last 28 days? Aren't they a bit similar?
Hardly, this month is January, so at the moment it will only be 1 day.
Is there a way I can put this mod on my actual forum homepage (without a link, just there so people can see when they log in) as well as the the Quick Links? Thanks.
Nope.
bookmarking for later
