sinisterpain 01-26-2007 04:09 AM

I just edited the vBookie files to add the option for Icash in the admincp also intergrated the Ibank feature by adding the totals of money on hand and money in the bank so it displays the richest users correctly in vbookie. Now all thats required is to select Icash in the admin cp instead of having to change the option in Icash to vbookie_cash. I have not fully tested everything yet, but it looks fine so far. When Im done testing if anyone is interested I can post up the files.

Black Widow 01-27-2007 09:11 AM

I installed it but i have one question.
Is there any chance adding to this hack a log system so users can see the donations they made and whom from the UserCP?
I have a lot of crazy users and i need to be able to see a user`s donations from the AdminCP when i have to decide if user donated to another or is just lying.

Thanks alot...:)

sinisterpain 01-27-2007 03:13 PM

I had a tiny issue with the intrest part. When you withraw money then redeposit it right after the bank keeps giving intrest.

Also is their going to be intergration for ibproarcade

Blaine0002 01-27-2007 05:11 PM

Sorry I posted this in the wrong thread it should have been under the ibank hack which you also created I will post it over there.

Vbookie that I have installed uses Icash not the vbookie_cash

I was just wondering is there a way I could charge to open threads in specific forums? I know ucash was able to this I tried it on vbbux didnt work so now I am trying ICASH please let me know if this is possible in anyway thanks!

Blaine0002 01-30-2007 01:22 PM

it is easily do-able with a simple hook i could whip up for you once i get home.

As for logging things, i dont really have any reason to add any more to this modification, but if you do figure it out, feel free to post it here.

Yes but i can not use the hack without logging because i and my users do not have any idea about the donations they did.
There is no other hack (except Vbux) which is much complex for mu needs.
So basicaly i am stuck without any points hack.

Can you please try to add the logging feature?
It will be very much appriciated.

Thanks...

Hello sinisterpain. I'd like to see what you did, if possible. I might install vbookie on my icash-enabled forum, and had the idea that it wouldn't require editing of vbookie code.

were you talking to me? cause I really need it to be able to charge points to post in certain forums if you can do this that would be REALLY GREAT! I know it was possible with ucash i am just hoping it will be in icash hehe

Black Widow 02-03-2007 02:42 PM

Should i believe that no one is willing to add a logging to this hack?

hitboy 02-04-2007 05:16 AM

also it would be cool if there was an option for choosing how many points to give in each specific forum is this possible too?

back

Check post # 196 in this thread. Read posts eitehr side of it to get more info

nsusa 02-06-2007 12:50 AM

Can this be used with the normal "paid subscriptions" feature in vBulletin?

Chris

Blaine0002 02-06-2007 01:36 PM

I guesse when i get some free time i can look into adding a logging thing, but it might not be soon.

As for paid subscriptions, it should work modified, but its not built in.

waller99 02-08-2007 01:31 AM

Does anyone have a fix to the wrong points when you type in the quick reply and then go advanced? Then once you click submit in advanced mode it gives you the amount of points you should get for a new thread instead of points for a post. Thanks..

winlya 02-08-2007 05:58 AM

I have improve your hack.
Example to +/- point only staff.History if any staff +/-.List top people get more point,....
But I have problem with this hack.

There is also another issue... every time you hit "Preview Post" you get the amount of points for "Submit Post". So, if you hit "Preview Post" 10 times, you get 50 points if "Points per reply" is set to 5.

You have to have the money on hand not in the bank to donate

Rickeo 02-09-2007 01:01 PM

No I do have it on hand cant install the bank because for some reason it doesnt let u open ur account when I installed the bank it kept saying my bank account was closed and I cudnt find ut how to open it.

So I do have the points on hand just wont let me donate full stop.

~Rick~

Blaine0002 02-09-2007 03:17 PM

wow, you seem to be having a lot of problems with my mods. How many other addons do you have installed? Are you using an up to date version of vbulletin?

JustinBr 02-09-2007 05:02 PM

I'd like to have an option in the admincp that lets me select a certain usergroup/usergroups, to which I can reset/override each member's money to whatever I want it to be.

I'm using icash as my money system on vb 3.6.4.

I see that icash already has a feature that lets you donate to certain members/usergroups from the admincp. The difference being is that with the current feature you are "adding to" the users current money, rather than "overriding with" the new value.

Is this possible?

Blaine0002 02-09-2007 10:33 PM

with simple math you can easily add negatives, giving users a certain point total.

As for logs, i have somthing good going here, expect it tomorrow.

JustinBr 02-10-2007 12:20 AM

yeah but each user is going to have a different "money" value that will be constantly changing.

without such a feature i would have to go through and do each one individually, correct?

Blaine0002 02-10-2007 01:23 AM

im not quite sure i understand what you are asking, what do you mean the money value will be changing....

eLetHe 02-10-2007 07:24 PM

Is it not possible to take away points from spammers?

If not, then this hack is pretty useless to use for serious things, like collect points and get a free domain. Or collect points and win cash?

Pretty darn useless..

Or am i wrong? Is it possible to remove points from a user?

Elethe

dartho 02-10-2007 07:43 PM

donating a negative value to them will remove points form a user

JustinBr 02-10-2007 11:30 PM

but how about entire usergroups? subtracting points from each individual user is tedious and impractical for my particular application.

And more to the point, how about "resetting" the points value to 0 or whatever value the admin chooses, for each user within a certain usergroup?

Kyerme 02-11-2007 03:29 AM

How do I import it?

Rickeo 02-11-2007 11:29 AM

I am running the latest version of VB and am running about 10 other mods any help on my quetions now please??

~Rick~

hitboy 02-11-2007 12:19 PM

How do I charge points to post in certain forums? Is this not possible in Icash if it isnt just say so please thanks! ( I REALLY need this feature)

Blaine0002 02-11-2007 02:03 PM

Rickeo, i have no clue what is causing this for you, but it is working for everyone else, try disableing your other mods one by one to see what one is causing the problem.

@ hitboy, it is possible, but with an additional plugin.
