How will this work with future updates from Jelsoft? Will I need to reinstall this script every time I get a security update?

I used this script on vBulletin 3 and removed it because it always took so long to update the board whenever there was a new update.

No, it's a Product, so you won't have to reinstall when you upgrade vBulletin.

yeah, i have those postbit and postbit_legacy modded already and the usercp ACCEPT CHALLENGE ON, however in the forum post, it still doesnt show up the challenge option...

What can be wrong?

You either didn't make the edit correctly, or the user you are trying to challenge isn't allowing challenges, or you didn't enable challenges in the Arcade AdminCP. Has to be one of those.

Sorry, but I had a lot of problems with the old system. I'm excited to use this if it works right.

i enabled challenge in each of the arcade games, unless there is a "enable challenges" option somewhere else i dont know about...,

If you have to revert any vBulletin templates to get new features/fixes, and those templates are one of the two or three that you modified to add Arcade features/links, then yes you will have to re-do those edits. That's no different than any other hack that requires changes to default vBulletin templates.

I thought there wan an overall Challenge System toggle too. Maybe not. If you have the other items done, then it should show up.

nope.. i did everything correct... hmm.. how do i change the postbit into postbit_legacy then??? maybe if i make the userinfo on the left side in my forums, it might work since i made the code changes in both postbit & legacy...

Thankyou for the great arcade system ... I had installed it successfully but somehow while accessing it .. I get this error:

WOW, this thread moves fast.... I made a post on PG 13 and was wondeirng if anyone could answer it for me. I added the arcade to the site and it's not working. But, the error I'm getting isn't what everyone else is getting. I have no clue where to even begin to fix this problem...

Here's my original post from pg 13:

Please help! I am an amature when it comes to this kind of thing. Could someone give me a starting point on how to fix this error:

i have ibProArcade already installed if i install this would there be a conflicked?
and befor you ask why im doing this its because I would like to have both of them up and running and let the members decide wich one they would like to keep.

Holy Crap! I was not impressed until I used that auto install system from v3arcade to my site to install some games!! Now thats what I call a piece of cake!

2 options.

1. Go into your AdminCP>Vbulletin Options>Style and Language Settings and click Yes on the "Use Legacy (Vertical) Postbit Template"

or

2. Go into your AdminCP>Style and Templates>Style Manager and edit the Postbit>>Postbit template as well as the Postbit>> Postbit_legacy template

I am currently translating it. Translating "challenges" is a real pain as there is no word in greek that reflects the meaning accurately :(

Along with the GIFs and the PHP installer (if it's an old v3Arcade game), or the tar file if it's a IBPro game.

Only for validation. When you've validated it you can disable guest access again.

Im having second thoughts now lol I rather run this but im a bad coder and im afraid if i take a shoot with out gudance im going to cause a problem.
If you guys get around to it please give me a lil input but ill hold of till you guys fill me in.

i get that when i try to update usergroups, is this due to me running 3.5 with the 2 3.51 upgrade files instead of a full upgrade ?
