btd: All indications of usernames will be gone in 3.0, you will only have Alias' so even in PM's it will show their Alias.

Features coming in 3.0:
Hide Option - The admin can specify in the vboptions for vBAlias which forums to allow use of the Hide Username/Alias Option, then when a member post they will see the option at the very bottom of the post under Misc Options.

Master On/Off Switch - Self explanatory

Usergroup Based - Admin can specify which usergroups can use vBAlias

Multi Alias - Check to make sure someone is not already using the Alias someone chooses.

Multi check may not be available until 3.1 but I am trying to have it available for 3.0

Optional Glow - Users will be presented with an option to add a glow effect to their alias name.

Full Site Alias - Users will no longer see their username anywhere on the forum, it will be replaced by their Alias name.

Admin View Users - The admin's will be able to view each members profile and see that users username, only admins will be able to, mods will be able to upon permissions given by admin.

Multi check may not be available until 3.1 but I am trying to have it available for 3.0

Alias 3.0 has been delayed to a few features causing the plugin to error out.

Unfortunately we ran into a problem with the hide feature. We are trying to fix the issue ASAP. Sorry for the delay on the new version.

Good news is I am testing the last feature, if all goes well it will be released, I will make another post with results in the next few days.

Sorry everyone but with my server down and me looking for new hosting I have no where to work on updates or new plugins so it will be a bit longer before I release a new update.

Ok work is to commence in the next 2 weeks to finish Alias 3.0

I'm assuming this will work for 3.6.4 (if you are updating it) ???
