Recheck the steps in the install file and makesure you have set the file paths correctly.

I actually got the part working where when you're finished, you go to alice/src/talk.html - and it works... Would this mean I got that part right?

Okay so check the file path to that file in the _talkbot.php file. Make sure there are no typos and that you used the full domain name not absolute path.

i still cant get him to post 50% of the time

Heres the talkerbot.php file i modified before i changed this to be fully acp powered. So just open this file and make the needed changes. You can also allow it to post more often in certain forums over others. By changing the forumid if statement around. Hope this helps you.

NOTE: I made it so the bot will see the posts for the forums hes allowed to post in even if that time he does not post. That way he can keep up with the conversations and learn things.

If anybody wants it and if rapid will agree i will release a new version for this hack.

Right now the changes I have finished on it so far are that it now takes a feild from the forum options page and you can enter in a pecentage and if it is 0 it is disabled for that forum and if not 0 its the percentage of the time that the bot will reply.

Great to see this for vb3. :) Is it possible to port the teacher bot hack as well? Also the bot is quoting everything and that looks a bit stupid. Can dis be removed?
