Same here. I've been monitoring this thread, watching, and waiting until it seems that people aren't having mixed emotions about it anymore. I think it's a great hack. It just needs to be polished up a bit.

I get a red X. However if you right click and select "show picture" the image will appear. Any ideas why? I just added a disclaimer for people registering. To do so.

when they use gd i also get that problem

I get it regardless if GD is off or on. Does that make a difference? The image will appear however if I right click it and select "show picture"
