I have a feeling it's another mod forcing the use of the standard templates.

I know it. Maybe it didn't work in the postbit, cause my members could select what kind of contributory view they want. In the postbit legacy all looks good, but when they select the postbit the collapser didn't work.

Any idea?

I uploaded this and enabled it but I dont see the option showing up to hide/show the details

For everyone's benefit, the problem Lightmaster-AH was having was caused by DBTech's Post Thanks/Like mod. It doesn't take a regular postbit template being used into account, it only accounts for postbit_legacy.

I would have to see if another mod is interfering with postbit collapser in your admin area.

If you want me to take a look at it, send me a pm with temporary admin username and password to your site.

Or, you can turn off your other mods one at a time until you find which one is causing the problem.

It is showing now, wasn't earlyier. (weird a few mods have done this recently)

It is not showing in the first post of a thread.

Could the keep first post at the top of every thread be interferring?

Any ideas how to add it to the first post?

If is possible that a mod that keeps the first post at the top of the thread is causing the collapser not to display on that post. The way to find out is to disable the mod that keeps the first post at the top of the thread.
