just installed on Vb 4.1.8
Working Perfectly!
You do not need to change any settings. Just upload the plugin as described above.

PS: First I've installed a plugin that sets unknown.gif (..images/misc/unknown.gif) as Default Avatar for users. Than this plugin..

Now working on 4.1.8. But- when i set Display last poster avatars on threadbits. to No, it still shows me avatars

You may adjust the styling of the last poster's avatar by making changes to the latestpost_avatar.css template.

Please refer to version 1.0.5a for a fix to the issue, thanks for reporting it!
