Hello Dark, I have a important query. For some reason when I go to see transactions manager I get no transactions at all. We have done alot of them adjusting and testing transfer but none of them appear. Let me explain better..... If I go to the transactions manager directly I get all the transactions , but if I go to the event manager and select adjust (which I have the amount set to 0 because the moderators will only be giving awards through this action they don't get paid for that adjustment, only weekly salary) there is no transactions to be displayed. Is this because I have the amount set to 0? If so is there anyway to go around this so we can award credits for post without having to charge or pay for the adjustment? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated my friend.

i am wrapping up some bugs which were found with the transfer box; they will be done in a couple hours - you are probably being affected by one of them. thanks for your patience :D

also - to anyone hoping they can use this with vb3.x, i am wrapping that up for release today as well :p

That is great Darkwaltz, can this have any relation to the Scheduled Transaction Processing option(which I have yet to fully understand). When we go to adjust or a transfer it says the action was successful yet the changes to dot appear in the credit count. I was wondering if this had to do with the scheduled transaction option to be enabled but now that I see your post maybe I should leave the default settings and wait for the bug fix and see if that resolves it.

that plugin is crucial to the functioning of this addon :p and yes, if possible just wait for my update a little later today

My default setting for this was set to off , should I turn this on and let it run every 10 mins? In which case the value of "Scheduled Transaction Processing" is the interval time of "vBCredits II Deluxe - Transaction Processor" which should be set to "on" in the task manager? Sorry for all the questions , I'm just trying to fully understand this amazing and complex masterpiece. We are really impressed with your work as usual.

We have someone writing up detailed documentation this very minute :p

If you have a smaller/quieter site, then the scheduled task is a good idea. 500 people online at once = pretty bad idea :p That is not the interval time, but rather the number of transactions it will process every 10 minutes. You can adjust that up if you think your server is idle enough for it.

We have around 400 to 700 all day. Server load stays below 0.5 most of the time, what would be a reasonable value considering the server load averages or better yet can these be done on cue?

P.S. promise no more questions : ) I'll be patient.

Darkwaltz4 07-05-2010 07:05 PM

hmm thats in the grey area. you can give it a try and see how your server load looks - please report back with the results :p
