if a members brings a hack/addon out then they always answer questions for a page or 2, after that for an unsupported mod most of the time they never come back.

this hack is pointless if your site b has vbseo....

I am thinking of dropping vbSEO as it doesn't seem to have any incredible advantages with v4 like it has with v3.x

Anyway, some questions if anyone can help
- will this mod be a negative with Google and other search engines in terms of ranking?
- could this be used with a single domain to break your site up into what would seem completely different sites within a site eg, Sail Boats, Speed Boats, Cabin Cruisers, Jet Skis - so users can click a menu on what site they want to go to within a single site called www.OnTheWater.co...?
- I take it that as mentioned in the developers post that you can also have different vbAdvanced CMPS pages but is it possible to just have one?
- Do users going between domains have their total post count across all domains displayed or are their post counts different for each domain?

This mod could be voted for mod of the year in my opinion as it will provide so much to so many and my compliments to the developer but I am a bit scared because it is such a great thing that I create my site around this and then it doesn't work with say v4.1 etc and no one gets it working - my site would be destroyed as I would then have to create 3 etc separate sites.

I don't really have a need for the mod, though I like it. Its great mod.. But I do have 3 domains, mater and two parked and most search englines use the original domain which is parked now.

Taged for till I make sure I won't need a seperate license.

Yes, you will need 2 licenses to use this mod. One for domain A and one for domain B even though it is from the one database.

Hmm.. something I never noticed with this hack finally is that the Who's Online Location doesn't register the way it should. When the person views the second domain you have setup on this hack, their online location will be:

Unknown Location
WOLPATH

Does anyone know how this handles forum subscription and birthday emails? Which forum name shows in the emails (and the "from" address)?

Anyone tried to use this with 4.0 Gold?

I'm only guessing, but i think it will be sent as the main forum configuration.

Yes the forums work fine with it. The known issues right now are:
- CMS
- Not Logging in correctly at times
- Who's Online Location
