Black Tiger:
Thanks for the info. I went back and edited the 2008's in the file and I am still not getting any of the pictures to display. When I click on the x it will show me the properties but they will not display. Site Url: http://new-paris.info/forums Thanks Bill:confused: |
I see the problem. I would suggest to remove the 2008 style because that's going completely wrong, at least in IE8.
There must be some paths still wrong in the admincp or templates. What I did is the following: 1.) remove the style 2.) edit the xml file and replace all 2008 by 2009, also look for other failures if possible 3.) reimport the style xml file, all should be fine. If not, you can send me a pm or notice me by email. If you are willing to give me limited admincp access (style and templates) and some ftp access to check, and I can fix it for you I think. |

find HTML Code:
<if condition="$show['forumslist']"> add before HTML Code:
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> that's it :) |
Thank you Rageedo.

Sorry, it does not work. I added the code you gave me to the forumdisplay template, but the categorie spacing is still present.

I don't quite understand what "search this forum" has to do with categorie spacing so I will put some attachments to my reply here. Without spacing I have no problems (my original style). Attachment 107903 With spacing I get those alignment problems. So that's why I would like it without spacing, only the colors and icons and if possible the roundings. Attachment 107904 The style also only works on forumhome, not forumdisplay or showthread. Furthermore the category spacing gives problems to forums who do have categories, but setup the categorie as open forum for posting, then the Christmas style will f*ck op the forumhome layout like this: Attachment 107905 So if there was a Christmas style without categorie spacing, both my and my friends problems would be solved. See the 2008 christmas style of another code here, which has no categorie spacing, is working perfectly on our forums. Maybe with the attached png's you understand where the problem is, and also that it has nothing to do with the search forum options. Than you. |
Ehmz.. you update the xml file and changed filenames in them without renaming the files itself. So to people installing the newer release version, in /images/styles/christmas_2009:
header_christmas4_01.gif should be renamed to header_christmas_left.gif header_christmas4_02.gif should be renamed to header_christmas_bg.gif header_christmas4_03.gif should be renamed to header_christmas_right.gif ;) |
Black Tiger I really appreciate your good remarks
Merry Christmas :) |
