Almost every job has at least one person working that has done something wrong during their lifetime. If people didn't get second chances this world would suck.

Also, I wonder how many people that are saying not to give him a second chance are religious? Isn't the whole thing with religion to forgive people no matter how large a mistake they have made? ....

At least PETA dosent have a say in this. haha they repremanded the president for swatting at a fly on national TV. :(

whatever he done should be dealt with by the courts - if the courts are to soft to send him down for his crime then so be it - the guy still has to earn a living for him and his family.

Donte Stallworth killed a man while under intoxication in a vehicle which is about a 10 year charge, he got 30 days and a ton less press than Michael Vick. My point is, of course let him play.

He should be allowed to play...I just hate that he went to the damn Eagles. If anything he should be playing for Carolina, we are the dog fighting capital of the world after all. I'll tell you this, any team that uses him effectively (doesn't start him as QB but still puts him in the backfield) is probably going to be pretty good...can you imagine the trick plays you could run with Vick playing HB?

PS. I'm allowed to make that joke because I live in the dog fighting capital of the world.

PS 2. I love dogs but I can see why people like this "sport" after watching it first hand. I'd never participate in it but I don't really see how it is any worse than what they put racing dogs through (who by the way are killed off by the thousands every year because they can no longer run).

PS 3. I don't see anyone in the news getting outraged about fighting chickens which is MUCH more brutal...anyone that has seen it will tell you that.
