How do I upload the images....and to where. thanks

Hi Paul, I have some replacement star images I'd like to use on my board, but the problem is that they are png files and not gifs like the original files.

There are only 3 of them. How would I go about making this hack use png files for those 3 images instead of gifs? Ive looked through plugins and stuff and couldnt find anything.

You upload them with FTP to your server, in your /images/reputation/ folder.

vbulletin is hard coded to use gifs (in one of the templates I believe). You would need to edit that template and the plugin code - or re-save your images as gifs.

Yes, i think ive seen the template, it has one reference to gif files, which tells me that it will only look for/use one type of file.

From looking at it I would say that if I changed the reference to png, it would need all of the reputation images to be png files.

How would I need to modify it to use png files for only those 3 stars, do you know?

Take the gif/png reference out of the template and add them to the names in the plugin code.

BigJohnny 02-07-2009 03:28 AM

what names in the plugin code am I changing? Im not quite sure what your referring to.

Hey, Paul.

I've edited the settings a little bit for it to work the way i need it to, but what i want is, once a user reaches the required amount of green pips, say 10. Once they do that, i want them to have a bar, and not the green pips next to the bar.

Is there anyway i can remove the green pips once the user reaches the required amount of rep? Thanks.

There's a image of what i mean, i need to remove the pips on the left. Cheers.
