I'll check it with someone more professional in vbstyles, but I believe that it can be done.

Sorry if I'll disappoint you on this issue, put we're trying to avoid dealing with forumhome to keep compatibility with any vb upgrade. But we plan to code Blocks for use with vBa CMPS.

Thanks - that would be great.

No problem, I've made a couple of mods so may knock something up that will do the trick for now.

Hello,

Do you've Plesk as your site's CP? I'm not guru on issues like this, that's why I transfered your post to Olympic, but I know that something similar appeared 2-3 times with vbNews and in all issues the common was Plesk CP. For some reason after upload the images are getting 600 or 640 instead of 644.

But it's something that can be resolve by adding a line just after the "copy images" from tmp dir to final location. CMOD 644. But please wait to get a more specific reply from Olympic.

that was fast :)

No i don't have plesk...

and i can not tell if this a server issue is, because some scripts works and some not (Coppermine, PHPBB set the right rights, Photoplog, Zoom-Joomla not).

I 'll wait for Olympic

Thanks Marina :)

In our site (which is under reconstruction) you can find only demos of the commercial mods.

vbDigiShop is a Shopping Cart (vB mod) for selling downloadable products (eg software, templates, photos, videoclips etc). It has been also used by our customers for selling tangible ites, even if it dosen't supports shipping and tax.

Hi, Marina & Chris:

vBFClassified looks superb and I am quite willing to buy it right away if it will work with vBCredits.

vBCredits is a great points system that is FREE and available on vBulletin.org. It is currently the best credits/points system available on vBulletin.org. Please download and install vBCredits to appreciate its power. No, I am not its author, just a happy user.

I've installed vBCredits which users of my forum can earn credits/points for various activities. I would like them to be able to use those credits/points, as an alternative to paying cash, to pay for their classified listings and also to buy goods and services advertised on vBFClassified.

Is this interfacing with vBCredits possible and easy to do? The vBClassified (a different, competing product to vBFClassified) already has the ability to work with vBCredits. However, if you will provide that ability also, you know you've a new customer, and very likely many more to follow, for your commercial version. I think the best implementation is to have a switch in the Admin Control Panel that can be turned on to [optionally] use the credits/points of vBCredits.

May be you guys can get in touch with the author(s) of vBCredits and cooperate? I think it can only be a win-win situation for both sides. With the interface, vBulletin owners using vBCredits will very likely choose vBFClassified for their classified needs.

Regards,
vNew

P.S.: You guys are doing great mods! Keep the momentum going!

I was wondering if it is possible to put some classified within a thread, at a special location at the home page, etc.

In other words, it would be nice to be able to position premium ads in special locations. Of course, one would want be able to set special advertising rates for such ads.

Possible? Coming feature? If it is to be available in the commercial version only, I don't mind. I plan on ordering the commercial version anyway.

Regards
vNew

Hello, did you miss my question?
