There is a slight problem with this mod. When "closing" the thread, it always shows the icon that says you've posted in the thread, regardless if you actually have done that or not...

I cant seem to get well with this at the moment. When i activate it in the acp and test to open an active thread, thread display full blank page..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you using the newest version of vBulletin?

kennethsia 11-14-2007 05:07 AM

Installed and working great!

Thank you.

Edit:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
when closing a thread that reached the maximum number of replies;
It would be nice to follow the next:

1. Close thread.
2. Create a copy of the first and last posts to be the next part of the thread.
3. Add a last reply with the link of the new part.

Great hack, i will definitely mark it installed and nominate to MOTM if only an include list is there as an option. On our case, include forum list is better than exclude forum list.

Is it possible to add an option to include forum list on this mod's next update? We only need this hack for auto-closing threads posted on our introduction and request forums. Including 5 forums is way practical than excluding 100+ forums.

Any answer from the author please?

Hi from Italy!
If I use this plugin for close post, when I unistall or unpublich the plugin, the posts are automatically reopened?

ralle89 01-09-2008 07:30 AM

The threads are actually only virtually closed. So as soon as you disable or uninstall, all closed posts are open.
