I know good support/devs sites [other technologies] as xoops.org, joomla.org, ipsbeyond.com and others. And really vb.org is the best. And made by volunteers :up:

Well, back on topic, More computer or personal problems Tim? But of course, thats too conveniant of an excuse. If your not going to pay the people, don't even say you are.

I use Freelancer to hire coders.
When the deal had been made, money is transferred into escrow which confirms to the coder that the cash is held by Freelancer and will be paid when the project is complete.
If the coder wants a percentage up front before making a start, that can also be accomplished with an escrow payment, so that no money has been paid to the coder until you the customer are satisfied with the work done.
Perhaps this is something that could be used here !?

I have used them as well...works very good and have worked with some very good coders too!

90% of what this guy does is just wrong, especially when he take's advantage of those that aren't that familiar with adding bit's and piece's of mod's to a new site.......The talkerbot code that he actually use's came from flashchat, with a few mod's in it...For that matter, i bet if someone took the time with the flashchat bot, they could make the bot learn just like it does with flashchat....

I have not really seen any code from this guy that seem's to actually be his, it all seem's to be little bit's and piece's put together from other's code...but that is just my opinion, and since my work schedule is so messed up lately, i really don't have the time to sit and compare his code to a few other's that i suspect he used to make mod's that people are paying for..........personally and i don't care what tim think's about this, but i would almost bet that 90% of his so called EWTchat is based off of flashchat.........

and has anyone ever noticed that he come's in here strong for a month, get's a bunch of people over to his um, website, take's em for money buying his um, code, then everyone come's back here to try to find this guy? hell, maybe it's just me but he never offer's any support on any of his so called hack's...........

All i can say is beware of this guy, i have stated it before and i am stating it again, He is not a true coder.....He is a great con man. (Refer to my post's in his so called talkerbot threads and you will see what i am talking about.) I even donated cash to this fool for this learning bot that he couldn't even make work on my site...........

He aint paying nobody back anything, and more then likely he is waiting for flashchat to update some of thier software, so he can try to make change's to his so called mods.....
