I wondered about that. That's great that you were able to figure that out for all of us here. Thanks.

Antivirus,
Great job...again! I have one thought. Would it be possible to "choose" where the link goes. For example, some may choose the link to be in the header and some in the bottom of the email. The only reason I say this is that although the hack is working great, I'm using Yahoo Email and the link is not clickable. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm going to attach an image of what I'm seeing. Thanks again for you hard work.

did you process the bounce before or after the update?

What are your settings for this mod in admincp?

Sorry I have been ill the past couple of days and not done much.

Yeah I had moved the user over after the fresh install.

But now I have just installed the next version everything is working great :D

Thank you for the update :)

Would be a great idea :)

I'm using Yahoo Mail and its a pain clicking on "View Full Headers" on each email and copy/pasting the link each time :(

I think the hack should check if that user is already been bounced.

Sure, i added an additional setting which gives admins option to also display the EZbounce link in the email message body. This is particularly usefull if admin's email client doesn't parse html when displaying email headers, or if the email client doesn't allow viewing of email headers at all.

I still suggest keepin gthis feature turned OFF and hiding the link in the email header, while using an email client which parses html while displaying email headers.

This is really good now :D

Just one small problem in emails sent out I get this at the bottom:

Management:
<a href="http://www.mysite.com/admincp/ezbounce.php?u=4"
target="_blank">http://www.mysite.com/admincp/ezbounce.php?u=4</a>

Is there anyway just to have it as one link cos I don't use html in my emails

Thanks :)

It's your email client that does that - word-wrapping because the string is continuous characters with only one space before 'href' and one space before 'target' in the entire string. If you allow HTML in your emails, you can click on the first line as a live link. If you don't allow HTML, nothing will make it a live link and your only option is copy-and-paste.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

In the other version I used to get just the one line which I could click on.

Yahoo mail always allows me to click any links.

I have added screenshots from before and after with the older version 1st

djbaxter 02-19-2007 01:13 PM

Hmmm... your second screenshot is what I've always seen, from the first version I installed. But since I do allow HTML, the first line is a live link anyway so it works fine for me.
