Ban user? Change another users name? Change thread title?

Are you intent on having chaos on your forums by having people that were banned just for the heck of it, cant login because they dont know their name (and thus have to do all kindsa funky stuff like reset the password) and changing thread titles letting people actually LOSE the thread?

Same kind of reasoning for the other options including move to top/bottom and sticky. Also user title I am just dead set against personally. You really dont want to have users invading eachothers account...

Also, looks good, if it gets some nice new features Ill dig it :) (the whole modify look and shit of user names and titles isnt really my thing :p however a shop to get people posting is :))

request > disable some elses signature (possibly for x ammount of days?)...should be able to set the cost per day

also...anything that you can change for yourself...there should be an option to do it to someone else...i love starting wars ;)

I would love to have ban a user... But in a differant way..

1000 points for the actual ban, then 2000 points per day to keep the ban alive, but the maximum is only 7 days

also, some of these things...such as any 'bad' stuff like changing anothers title, or pretty much anything that changes someone elses stuff...could it be set to require admin/mod approval?

I wouldn't think that it would be neccessary as vBookie uses its own system points, but yeah I guess it could be useful...

well for one I would have it ban them to a special forum, not banned altogether. and yes, I guess I like a bit of chaos. There's a lot of flaming on my board and I think this would just give them more tools to help the flames :D

The options could be set for like a 24 hour period only, or just make it so the other user has to buy his name/title/thread title back, etc.

But for the ban one, I would try to find a way to redirect the user to the 'banned' forum or they'd get a special popup informing them of what had happened, who paid to ban them, etc.
