I find in FF that autostart=0 instead of autoplay=false is what works

any help is appreciated

Ok I think I found the permission change, but now i get:

Error: Non supported media type.

I'm using IE and it's just a .wmv file... am I missing a player?

UPDATE: mp3's work...

I had the same problem viewing the video. You will have to set the user groups permission. After I changed the permissions it worked great! I have been wanting this for a long time!

This is by far one of the best hacks! Very simple and a great addition to any forum. Thanks for the great hack Crist!

This is totally confusing me. I mean it's probably a given that most of us are logging in under an admin account, so what does it mean?

Log into your admin control panel

Click on "Usergroups"

Then "Usergroup Manager"

This will display the various user groups - click on each "edit usergroup" button (or click the "Go" button) , then scroll to the bottom - there should be a section titled "AnyMedia BBCode Permissions"

Set the control to yes or no , depending on which usergroups you want to use the BB Code.

Repeat for each usergroup that you want to be able to use this hack (I believe every usergroup is set to "No" by default)

Well, this is the problem then. I do not see anything remotely resembling "AnyMedia BBCode Permissions". I suppose I might need to uninstall and reinstall the hack again?

This is what my usergroup permissions screen looks like. At the very bottom. I did completetly re-hack when he changed it.

I'll refer to some docs and if it's really a problem,I'll fix it as soon.

Whether the url (file) is end with ".wmv" ???
If not (such as "http://host/file?asfawgsavagasf"),
You must use a option to play it,
just like
[media=0,0,0,wmv]http://host/file?asfawgsavagasf[/media]

just upload the files again
and re-import the xml file.
then do change the usergroup permissions...
