Ok I have the setting to only allow one score per user enabled and it was working fine. But now it is showing multiple sores for users when they tie their previous score. Any fix for this so it only shows one score per user?

That's why I have switch to IbProArcade.
I have paid for V3arcade and after months of waiting there isn't news comming out.
You can easy switch to IbProarcade because there is a converter to do that.
I know there is (or maybe was) a discussion what the best arcade is (or was) for Vbulletin.
But no support and no new games and new (update) version isn't good.
My members love the IbProArcade and they have not complain about the switch from V3 Arcade to IbProArcade

I tried it but couldn't get high scores to work .... so opted back to V3 ......

I've been waiting for a couple of day to be given access to vbulletingames.com but seems they aren't interested - can understand why people aren't interested in them - go a big "Donate to us" but won't give you access ... you know where thier heart is eh!!

Might try ibPro again and see if I cant get it working .... trouble is I run vbadvanced and having run the forum a while before installing vbadvanced have the forum index renamed to forum.php and the vbadvanced index as index.php in the same directory ..... I think ibpro is trying to access the index file and not the forum.php file for the high scores ... not sure ...

I do have a heap of V3 games from the original site somewhere on disk here ... ran them on a phpnuke site years ago ... now where the @#$#@ did I put them .... :eek:

anyway .... I'll have another go :(

Hello were do i upload the games because ive uploaded them in each folder and when i come to mass upload them nothing seems to happen

upload them to admincp/games

try *** Removed link to massive download site, considered Warez *** its a link to another members games. I have ibpro and v3 games installed they all score mostly and if not get chopped

Where do I find games for this? I visited www.v3arcade.com and there is nothing there but links back to this site.

Is there any code availible to restrict members under 18 to none adult games while allowing over 18 members to play adult games?

And VIP Members, is there any code that can blank certain games to none VIP members?

I'm alomost dont with the install but inthe instructions where it says to change the code in the postbit or postbit legacy depending on which one you use? How will I know which one I use as VB 3.6.8 has the template for both postbit and postbit legacy in there. So which one should I change?

I have to say that this is a STUPID site. I had to create a special email address just so that I could register. I finally get registered, just to find out that I have to be moderated!!!! I'll go elsewhere for games.

If your user information (avatar, etc.) in threads is on top of the post, use the postbit. If it is on the side, use postbit legacy.

What I did was just eidt both of them and all is working fine as far as it being installed. I hit the arcade button in the nav bar and it takes me to the arcade but in ever game that I click on where the game should appear in the box to play its just a white blank. No game ..I see tertris and space onvaders and all but when i click to play the game shows up with the links for highest scores etc. but in the actual game box nothing comes up. In IE it will say click to activate and I do and nothing happens. In mozilla firefox it is just a white page it never does say click to activate in the box.


I even installed the adobe flash player plug in like it prompted me to do.

Any suggestions on this one guys? Im thinking it may be something else I need for my browser but Im not sure.

I found the answer to my problem above for anyone else who ran into this.Some kind of way when I uploaded the game folder I did it in the forums folder but something muse have been clicked or something because it wasnt there when I checked again so therfore make sure your game folder and all other uploaded files are showing in the correct place ...one of those check check and recheck type things as I have read that tohers had the folder but their ftp client for one reaosn or another did not upload all the files as it should have. So if you are having any trouble check this first......this si working on vb 3.6.8 like a champ ...now I need more games

OK I'm having one small issue that I'mhoping someone can answer. This is running greaton my board. Everything is updated and Im not having any trouble withthe exception of one thing. When I go into the arcade I had played some games and so did other users to test the arcade. I then cleared all the scores. The scored all cleared great and the new players that played the game show as the highest score and champion trophy next to their name when posting on the board. However in the arcade under the box that says News & Events which gives the players name that also says tetris champion or whatever game is played is not updating. Its not showing the players that re the highest score it is showing the older one before the scored were delted . I know there is a spot in the Admin Cp under arcade "game tools" that says you have to click the start button to use the following: This tool rebuilds the cached high score values for all the games in the Arcade. If you delete a high score, you need to run this to update the champion for a game. Well I have clicked start a million times and its not working. Im not even sure if this is where is controlled or not but can anyone tell me how to make the News & Events update the player who the correct champion?

This person was getting a underline i peoples posts. Then said he fixed it buy adding a closing tag in the posts bits I assume.

Is there a way to transfer all of the ibProArcade info to the v3Arcade and is there a skin to match the ibPro Arcade?

A Great Enhancement For The Arcade Could Be To Add The Option To Select For Each Game The Usergroups that Can Use It In Particular (Leave Blank For All userGroups), of Course This Should Be a Second Validation Among the Usergroups that Can Use The Arcade, (this is set for all Particular Usergroups)!! :up:

The Idea is that Curently the Hack Allows to Set Permissions Based on Post Counts and other Options, but Perhaps the Administrator Would Like to Reserve the Usage of Several Games to some Particular Usergroups (More Priviledges), Allow Some to Use the Games, but Some Games to be Restricted to Some Usergroups!! ;)

Of Course, Adding the Option to Allow Also Some Users, Would Complete the Set Of Permissions; I've Seen This in Other Hacks and Is Very Flexible and Complete!! :up:
