Offhand I can't remember exactly the ones I've personally run into but I believe the ampersand was one of them ("&" should be changed to "&" in any url reference). I remember the ampersand was definitely an issue for me if it wasn't coded as "&" I ran across this error a couple times when I was adding urls to the "extra-urls.txt" file.

Whenever Google would give me a sitemap error, my solution was to check my latest sitemap manually and see if there was an odd character in any thread/post title url. Usually I would find one, then I would just go to the forum edit the thread title, recreate the sitemap and all was good.

Also, do not use all the settings in vbseo sitemap.

Indexing the "post" settings as on, may produce considerable 404 errors in webmaster tools. That settings will list incorrect url's in sitemaps. (I am using pretty urls)

Thanks for your brief reply on your first post i agree with you because it was same case with me then i change the thread title when i catch error in manual checking but still google webmaster make me anger and i am not indexing posts

Is this better than unlimited sitemap generator?

The sitemap scheduled runs at 2AM server time, can this be changed to another time? My server has high load at this time. I am unable to find the option anywhere. Please help

Under AdminCP - Scheduled Tasks - Scheduled Task Manager:

Look for "vBSEO Search Engine XML Sitemap". When you find it (it will probably be near the bottom of the list) go to the far right and you will see "Edit" already selected in the option box, click the "Go" button underneath it. From there you can change the time.

Yes, vbSEO is dead (and has been as far as support for over two years now). DBTECH is working on an SEO product called DBSEO which is in its beta stages and will expand upon what vbSEO offered. DBSEO will also import your vbSEO settings with the click of a button. Then a quick change in your .htaccess (basically changing vbseo to dbseo in two spots) and those who were running vbSEO will have DBSEO up and running.

Like I said it's still beta but coming along quickly. It will be nice to actually have a supported SEO product for vb once again.

Hmm, hopefully DBTECH , will come soon with a release...Thanks for the info.
