cheat-master30 12-24-2009 04:37 PM

Same for me ive added the keys etc in admin cp and can click to (twit this thread) but it still doesnt show on my twitter page, any ideas guys?

AndyMP 12-28-2009 05:23 PM

Same, I did a completely new installation (never used the modification before) following the instructions. But there is no place in the Edit Options for a user to put their username/password for twitter and when I click the authorize link, twitter doesn't seem to recognise that a user has been added because in the twitter/application settings it still shows "0 users".

I will attempt a new install soon, since the process must have changed at some point.

Did you go to User CP->Edit Options->Scroll down to vbTwitter????? It should take you to twitter.

In my case it all works except when Tweeting a post.

ProFifaLeagues 12-28-2009 10:53 PM

Same here all working well apart from when trying to tweet a post it acts as if its been done but doesnt appear on my twitter page!!

AndyMP 12-29-2009 09:25 PM

Ok, something happened today ! I logged onto Twitter and my account had a message saying "I have successfully set up my account to work with vbtwitter at one of the sites that I visit - this message means that it was successful".

And sure enough, when I selected to tweet a thread it appeared on my twitter page. So everything seems ok after all, except that while I can tweet a thread I can't tweet an individual post.
