Can i get the total given Thank You score on the forum index ??
I mean before or after the subject, so that you don't have to go inside a topic first to see how many thanks there are given to the poster ??

did you mean like my mod. i just coded small mod called "Display Thank Score By thread On Forum Index"

you can view demo. it seem working fine on my board

check mod here

Question - is there a way to "weigh" the rep points given for a "thanks" in particular forums? For instance, on my message board, a "thanks" is worth 5 rep points given. But there are some forums that are off topic (like a "jokes" forum, etc.) I have some members that have a huge amount of rep points, but they post mainly in off topic areas. I know that one can shut off the "thanks" in selected forums, but I'd still like the "thanks" to be available there. For instance thanks in the "jokes" section are worth 1 rep point, "thanks" in the on-topic areas are worth 5.

Make sense?

Is this possible? :)

Actually I solved this problem by installing the "groan" mod. I have "thanks" turned off in the off-topic forums, and the groan mod turned on. I renamed the "groan" phrases in the xml file to "Way To Go", replaced the button with a custom one, and disabled the rep points for the mod. Now members can WTG each other without rep points going through the roof :D

Hello, i installed this hack on my vbulletin(3.7.1) but when i hit thanks button nothing happens.
The button dissappears until the next refresh an nothing is shown below the post.

Could you please help me?

EDIT
I installed the 7.4 version and everything works perfect now!

Did you uninstall the product rather than just overwrite it? If you uninstall it it will remove database tables. As far as I know anyway. You should not have uninstalled the thank you hack if that is what you did.

You could create a new database, install the back up copy of the forum. Then go to the back up page in your adminCP and untick/uncheck all tables except the thank you table. Do a back up of the thank you table. Then go back to your current operational forum and upload the thank you table sql table.
Do another backup of your operational forum just incase to be safe before installing the back up of the thank you table.
Can you tell me what you did by the way, like did you uninstall the thank you program because I was going to do a downgrade to 7.4 thank you hack and your post made me nervous lol.

i uninstalled first..lol
