You don't have to create your own proxy there are some already out there that are open to public use. http://duncanmackenzie.net/ has a feed from xbox.com, he opened it to the public because it's so hard to get into XCDP(I've tried). PM me if you would like the url.

Ya thanks, I use Duncan's API for some other projects I am working on and with that experience in hand I would rather provide the service for a project this size.

You can remove the donation, but not the copyright. I will probably make this an option in the future when I find some time to work on the mod, I didn't realize it would be confusing to people.

one other thing. When viewing posts....near the avatar section where it says "gXbox Live Leaderboard 1st". Can you tell me where to change that to just "Xbox" instead of "gXbox" ? I found corrections for the other sections, but not this one. People might be confused... gXbox huh?

Hmm, you must have edited the template to change the title for the other places? They are phrased so you only need to edit the phrases, not the templates. Search phrases for gxboxlive.

yeah, I did it through the templates like a fool. I always feel weird doing things with that phrase manager...worried i'll screw something up.

Hey, is there a reason why the xbox "email" and "friends" options are defaulted to No ? I was wondering if there was a small security issue with that ? Like if a member tells me his name was hacked...he could maybe blame me for that ? I dunno.

Phrase manager is pretty much like the template manager, just edit away, you can always revert. If you edit the templates, you have to do it every upgrade. If you edit the phrase, any template changes will be applied during an upgrade without having to edit it again.

I have it disabled by default just because it is so easy to send friend requests people could just click down the list adding everyone friend or not for whatever reason so I leave that up to the admins to decide. They can not be hacked unless by their own fault and the friend system is already available on xbox.com even without this mod. Nothing would put you at fault.
