Are you guys just saying the rewrite part of it doesn't work with the tags system?

I am happy just using the forum meta tags and a couple other parts....

Thanks

I'm curious too, I'd love to use Zoints on my board, if it's only the tag system then i'll install it anyway cause I turn that off

Hi,

I'm asking for a little bit of help on the Zoints Mod, because I can't get it to work properly. I installed it, did everything the readme told me to do, but still it isn't as it has to be.

My links are now turning up like this:
http://www.lalala.com/forum//showthr...html?p=7#post7
and it has to turn up like:
www.lalala.com/forum/topictitle-5.html

Can somebody please help me out? Much appreciated,

Niels

Hi guys,

First of all, i installed your seo on my last forum and it was super! Unfortunatly this time i seem to be having a problem. When i installed zoints SEO and turned it on, i noticed all of my images were missing and that none on my urls worked.

After looking into it i found out it was missing the forum directory in each url and so it wasnt finding the images / going to the forum or thread, for example it would go to this url:

http://www.myforum.com/forumdisplay....stions-10.html

But the forum isnt in the root, its in the forums folder so it should be this:

http://www.myforum.com/forums/forumd...stions-10.html

If i add the forum directory to the url it works perfectly, but i can only do that manually. How can i tell zoints SEO that my forum isnt root its in the forums folder and that it needs to be adding /forums to each url it optimises. Also, when doing the mod rewrite, do i add the lines to the htaccess in my forums folder or the one in my websites root?

Many thanks for any help you can give!

James

I have the same problem but with the urls generated by Zoint SEO.
My forum is allocated in the directory foros
For example

http://www.myforum.com/foros/

But the urls generated by Zoint SEO link to http://www.myforum.com/ and didn?t work.
How to correct that please?

The problem was fixed :) but i have a new problem.
I add to homepage the section Latest Threads but in this section the links appear in the old format (http://myforum.com/foros/showthread.php?t=7)
How fix this?

Now if this could be combined, unified, with TfSEO for vBulletin 3.7.x, it would be a killer SEO product.

Any coders out there who want to get involved?

I'd do it if I knew anything about coding, but I don't. :(

Peace,

Ok, I (hey, I was just starting out) installed this with the rewrite option, not knowing any better... Fast forward a year and a half and I've got almost 9 million posts.... But in Google? 70,000 pages.... I'd really like to switch back to standard vbulletin URLs but my question is... how?

Obviously, my links are in the http://www.myforum.com/forum/thread-name-t127521.html format in Google... If I disable the rewriting, the links won't go where they are supposed to... Is there a way to "reverse rewrite"? So that, when it comes in, it's rewritten properly back into the vB default URL format?
