Either you need to get your web site php implementation to include the gd2 module (speak to your service provider) or you need to get me to implement the alternative graphics package which VB can use instead of GD2.

Question - does your vb installation display thumbnails correctly within other parts of your board - if so you've got another graphics option available. But it's worth speaking first to your hosting company.

I host my own website on a mac os server, I have only installed the basics at this stage so there is no way of finding out if thumbnails work on the site.

I will send you a pm with admin access and the site.

I'll make a note of this for the next update. For efficiency, it really needs a slight change to the category data structure (currently categories already 'know' their parents but not their children). I imaginethis should be controlled by a setting (flag new entries up the tree/flag new entries in parent only).

Also, how would I go about customizing the "new categories" cmps module that you created? You used standard categorybits and changing that would change the normal category listings in cmps as well since they're based off the same variable.

You're right - I changed the code quite some time ago to carry the template as a parameter in the code that builds the linkbits, but never got round to doing the same thing for catbits. Easiest will be to make this change in the next release. Otherwise, you will have to copy the get_catsubbit and get_catlistbit code over into a module/plugin, and modify the choice of templates.

No guarantees of when 2.2.7 will appear - there are some other things that I need to do first.

In the phrase "ll_perms_thumbs_dir", I can see this:
Code:

(the settings of local_file_root and local_file_root are ignored)
I think it's this:
Code:

(the settings of local_file_root and local_file_root_prefix are ignored)
Anyway, French language uploaded (you can add this in your product) :)

Thanks - and thanks :)

I've read something earlier in this thread about a youtube /googlevideo integration. I'd love to have this feature. Any word on that? Will there be a plug in or can this become a standard function?

I'll be upgrading in a little while, finally have the time, then I'll hack my stuff and if it works, I'll post up.

Is there a solution for getting moderate links in the quick moderation?
Besides that the links to be moderated would show up in the ModCP, this would also allow my mods to see it on their moderator VBAdvanced page. (Within the quick moderation block)

I made quite some changes to moderation during the summer break, to make this whole proecss easier, but didn't release the changes with 2.2.6. I'll take another look.

Ok, I moved where I placed the lines, and it's working, kinda... it's not going offsite anymore, but it's not using my settings, it's trying to play thru quicktime for some reason??? And this is at the top of the page.

PHP Code:

Parse errorsyntax errorunexpected $end in /home/amacnyco/public_html/vb/local_links.php(1827) : eval()'d code on line 24
