If you don't want it at all, you can remove the postbit and legacy postbit code and the icon won't show then. This means that no one can see it.

If you want it there for mods only then I presume it's a case of using the IF command to check which group the user's in. I'm not sure how do to that, but you could take a look at the code around it to see how any moderator only options are dealt with and then apply it to the code for this icon.

Also : When you use the "Hide name" function and it displays the vbPager icon instead of the avatar, along the top bar instead of saying From Jordan, it says From : N/A.

I have recentley installed 2 hacks, extra hear/footer on forum home, and extra header/footer in forums. I disabled them both but it seems that now when I send a page it takes me back to to forum home.

Yes, it starts at 0 but as soon as I type it starts counting down from the charechter limit(600 on our forums)

That's still my problem with Firefox. I can get them fine but can't reply. I can reply with everything else but to reply with Firefox I have to simply open a new pager window.
