I also tried to add an advertisement in my navbar, but I have a double navbar installed so it shows up twice. how can I remove one?

I placed all my ads where my default ones from 3.7 are.

So you should see something like $ad_location['ad_navbar_below'] in your templates. Place that into your 'Navbar automatic insertion box' that way the ad will show up there.

I use this so I can rotate ads instead of just having one ad all the time. It's nice.

im using this mod on 3.7 and for some reason my forum views to a new post goes striaght to " 3" only happens when this program is running and doesnt happen whne its off

damn I dont see $ad_location in my template.

I installed 4.02 (twice to make sure all was correct) with all templates set to default before starting.

It can get everything working, but as soon as I enable an ad, the page the ad is to be shown goes blank. All copyright notices are intact, everything is default. I even removed my own copyright notice to make sure.

Any ideas?

It would go at the very bottom of the navbar template.

Sorry the only thing I have found for the cause of that is the copyright not being there...have you tried adding the copyright in the footer like the suggestion in the manual?

The call is in the header. I changed it to the navbar and changed replacement and it didn't change. Maybe someone a little more experienced could shed some light on it.

I have searched for an answer to this question, but cannot find one.

I have loaded six ads into the system for the header ad position using the prompts provided in the admincp. When I choose for the banners to refresh periodically, I tried 60 seconds, the ad disappears after the time span and another ad does not appear. If I turn off the periodic refresh the ad rotate whenever the page is changed or refreshed with a click. How can I get the periodic refresh timing system to work?

I use it on 3.7, works fine

Like I said before I was using the the hooks that vb uses for the ads that way they show right under those. I don't think vbadvanced uses those. So at the end of the navbar (or top of forumhome) take that hook and paste into the box and use that instead.

I dont know what happen. all i did was add $navbar_advertisement in the navbar template

Howdy all! I got this working on my stripped down 3.8.0 site. http://www.suzukiequatorforum.com/

Granted I don't have my SEO software installed, homepage or arcade but the fact remains that it will work.

Upload everything in the uploads folder as is then go to Products and Plugins manager at your VB control panel and upload both vb_ad_management.xml and also vb_ad_management_english.xml found in the languages folder, both are products.

Just remember that when you add code to the header section you have to click save before moving on to the navbar area. Even though they are both on the same page they are separate areas and have separate and individual save buttons.

Also the remove ads link won't work so you need to remove those in the Advertisement Templates by deleting <phrase 1="$vboptions[bburl]">$vbphrase[adintegrate_remove_ads]</phrase>

I have Ajax disabled at the moment and also Automatically insert advertisements? so you must insert the appropriate hook into the appropriate template found in the Ad locations Templates. For example: after you place the code for the header and save it. Copy $header_advertisement and paste it in the ad_header_logo template.

This modification is so outdated. You should try and use the ad areas set by vbulletin in the emplates.

That would be fine except I have multiple sponsors who all want to see their banner at the top. The ads rotate so all is well.

I use the header adcode section. One of my advertisers uses a flash banner. This is the code I use to display it. You'll want tp modify the width and height parameters to match the banner size on your forums.

For some reason, the ad block is displaying twice in the postbit (below the first post of a thread) for guests only. As soon as I log in, the problem corrects itself and only one occurrence of the advertisement appears.

How do I fix this issue with the duplicate?
