hi, i have just up graded to the latest v3 arcade a bit of a change from ipro-arcade but it seems that my Default User Settings

do not work, like i cant Allow Challenges or use the PM system anyone no why please?

should i re-install it?

I am not sure if it is better to ask here or at v3arcade.com but I get the feeling that I won't be getting much help anywhere. I only see questions in both places. But worth a shot.

I just recently upgraded from 1.0.6 to 1.0.7. First I noticed some database errors on modifying user groups. But found an answer here:

I am still left with one issue.
On arcade main page in news & events bit. Where it says "username is new gamename champion" gamename should link to the game but I get error in that url, it says:

instead of game id at the end. Any help would be appreciated.

I do not think that I have seen this error, but seeing as you installed the other arcade system two days ago, it is not an issue any more.

There has been a lot more like these....................

Highest scores are not recorded if so then they are not recorded on the game`s champion list .........

Yes, I did and it wasn't just because of that error, and I am quite happy with this arcade system. I am just sorry I didn't try it sooner :)

Hi, for some reason the "Challenge User" link at the bottom of the post is spreading all over the page.

You probably cant see it too well in the picture, but the line across the icons and under the workds in the post.

Any idea whats causing this and how to resolve it?

The installation instructions are wrong at one step. Where it says find:

That table code looks like it was added to the template. Keep in mind that the instructions for most modifications are are written based on a stock vBulletin configuration.

Has anyone checked out this cool addon for v3Arcade? If you're tired like me of having user awards clogging up thread space, you'll definitely appreciate having this dropdown menu in the postbit.

I have seen this, but know of no fix. My time is gone again for now until this semester is over (3 weeks), so I could not even begin to look at it. I wonder if anyone else has a fix for it...

I've created custom script based on REMOVE ZERO arcade cp functionality. Added to the script "DELETE INCORRECT SCORES" ability and then added it to VB's cronjob.

For me it solved the problem.

First you might want to run mentioned function manually (from adminCP/arcade/Score Tools/Remove all zero scores) and make sure if it helps.

I've also added removal of incorrect users, ones with empty userid. Dunno where they are coming from.

I've attached the script to this post. On my forums I added it to "Scheduled tasks" to be run every 30 minutes Before you can add it to "Scheduled tasks" you will need to upload it to /includes/cron/

USE THIS SCRIPT ON YOUR OWN RISK. I GIVE NO WARRANTY AT ALL.

I recommend you to be very carefull with this script and with any third party scripts.
I created this script for internal use only and never tested it on any other forums but mine.

i cant seem to find the "Arcade Champion" plugin for this.
its not there by default and i dont see it in the list above...
there was a simple "Arcade Champion" part wasnt there.... for the arcade page itself, not forum home

Can anyone tell me where I can download games that score in v3 Arcade 1.0.7

Please don't past a link that doesn't work or have games, or tell me to look somewhere else! I've looked everywhere - including ibPro Arcade and just can't find any that save scores in V3 107.

The games from V3 Arcade work fine so there are some that work .....

Come on you game hoarders ... give some away - they are free aren't they?
