I agree and you are right, however I've posted here on multiple occasions trying to help, back when this thread first started. Weeks have passed and I've been rather patient. I didn't post on his other site b/c you have to register. So I listed features/bugs here.

If you are able, you may want to do some investigating yourself about the issue. Take a look at the video mod and see what sort of code it adds and where. Try applying the changes to the live topic mod and see if you can fix it and then post the fix.

Hello there. im going to use the live topic on my forum now.

But i have a request or and idea if you want to call it that way.

The idea is perfect. i love it.
Can you do the same but with the main page of the forum?
I mean not a single topic, but the entire forum.

I will try to xplain myself.

when you are in the main screen of your forum some one post something and you can see it live, a good idea would be to add a sound, like the one in facebook, so you know some one as posted something.

If you ask yourself why this would be usefull?
Well for me i spend most of my time in the main page of my forum clicking F5 to check on the new posts. ( im the admin and main moderator ).

Thanks for this addon thow :)

I have opened up a bug management system due to the amount of issues with conflicting products. If vbulletin.org had such service i would be using it.

Like Lynne said, I have a real job and this is not part of it. I do this for pure fun, I am not obligated to support anything as you are not obligated to use anything i develop. This thread has 600+ responses, its not the most logical way to manage bugs/requests.

I'm trying to provide a quality addon, and i feel the best way is to have some sort of bug management system. I hope you understand.

Im using a dark colored forum and the "notices" if you will, arent showing up

Here is an example of what I mean. (Its hard to explain)

DISLEX 03-19-2009 03:33 AM

anyone else have a problem where the username popup box that lets you see their profile, send a pm, etc is all messed up? Only half the entries show up, the rest are empty rows.

It isn't just you. I had forgotten all about that cuz I don't usually click on the username in a live post. At least View Public Profile and Visit Homepage are partially missing - the <a> tag isn't 'finished' and the phrase isn't there - note the lines in red:

Code:

<tbody><tr>
        <td class="thead">xxxx</td>
    </tr>
        <tr><td class="vbmenu_option vbmenu_option_alink" style="cursor: default;"><a href="member.php?u=9" linkindex="400"/></td></tr>
        <tr><td class="vbmenu_option vbmenu_option_alink"><a rel="nofollow" href="private.php?do=newpm&amp;u=9" linkindex="401">Send a private message to xxxx</a></td></tr>
        <tr><td class="vbmenu_option vbmenu_option_alink"><a rel="nofollow" href="search.php?do=finduser&amp;u=9" linkindex="402"/></td></tr>
    <tr><td class="vbmenu_option vbmenu_option_alink"><a href="profile.php?do=addlist&amp;userlist=buddy&amp;u=9" linkindex="403">Add xxxx to Your Contacts</a></td></tr>
    </tbody>

I'll add it to the bug tracker.
